I can tell you as a mechanic and I got a Mopar the supercharger bearings go bad. They dumped metal into the engine, causing problems. That’s why I went with a Whipple.

I think they should have a deeper oil pan in the front of the pan and larger sump. I would guess on a hard pull oil is flowing to the back of the pan.

U should put stp synthetic oil additive in ur engine to thicken the oil and stp synthetic engine flush when u change it

I agree! My Demon 170 is the most amazing musclecar I have owned. Hard to believe Dodge was able to build a car this fast that is emissions legal and has A/C and power options, much less with a warranty

Yes is true that it’s stock, it’s still a car that cost over 200k to actually get right now. A purpose built drag car that makes over 1kHp. So let someone in a modified gt500 with less total in the build beat a demon 170 the mopar boys start screaming “it’s a stock car” 😂

Not sure about the Demon, but my SS 1LE takes 10qt of 0w40 full synthetic.. its between $125-135 to buy the oil and filter no matter where you buy it.. Also you change out the rear diff fluid every other oil change which takes an extra $17 quart of diff fluid.. I don't daily it so its only about 2x maybe 3 per year if I go to track at all.. Oil in performance engines that have large sumps isn't cheap.. Its not just old 5w30 anymore.. High hp cars are not cheap to maintain no matter what.. I just installed the second set of tires I have bought also, at $1700 a set..

@@Clutch_Kick187 I'm Chrysler tech I think it's suggested that you change the diff fluid every 4hrs of track use. Since every 1/4 mile only last about 10s. It will take a very long time to reach 4hrs (24 runs). My point is why isn't this guy changing his own oil. It's just a Challenger. I'm a "car guy" too, and I would never pay to have some grease monkey touch my ride.
