If you're going to the diesel gala at the ELR ON THE THURSDAY MORNING they are doing a full trip bury to rawtenstall on the first trip of the day and for £20 you can have a ride in the guards van .the rest of the day the brake van rides only go as far as ramsbottom but the cost is only £12 return

I'm not to sure now if I asked if I could ride in the van or it was a day that they were doing brake van rides I've been on so many over the years footplate ride and guard van rides If you don't ask all they say is yes or not today Have you seen the one I did on the embasy and bolton abbey a couple of weeks ago .think it's called the yorkshire boys on tour video thats the title
