Another Cheap Plasma Cutter Review

In this video, I run through the spectrum of cheap Amazon plasma cutters...
After falling into a deep rabbit hole and doing tons of research, I picked up my second choice.
This is my real world, not an AI robot generated video test of the Lotos LTP5000D Plasma Cutter! There's lots of good choices out there, and I almost didn't get this one because of all the cheesy weird, fake, robotic video reviews of this and other Chinese plasma cutters. In the end, I felt like this one has actually stood the test of time, the price has come down due to competition, ETC. Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice. It's already paid for itself with one job, so I'm happy to run it hard until it blows.

Couldn't you just use a sawzall or even a jigsaw with a metal blade?

I don't have a sawzall, but I do have a jigsaw with metal blades. The problem is that the 1/4" thick metal plate that had to be cut out was a couple inches inset into the 4"x4"side posts, and 2"x4" top and bottom posts. A saw would have required pilot holes to be drilled, = lots of time + sawing to the edge, which is difficult due to the inset position on the 1/4" sign. The plasma cutter was the best option time wise. I didn't have a lot of time to make this project happen. Good bicycle mechanics are also in high demand, and we're short handed. Hence, maybe you can understand my dilemma?

@@JoeyMesa Makes sense. I'm considering getting one of those multiprocess welders. The plasma torch isn't a big selling point, but it would he nice to have. I definitely want TIG, Arc and MIG. What are your thoughts on them? Did you consider buying one with the torch capability?
