Holmes is probably my guess as who the Raptors take with 19. I don't see him lasting to pick 31. Too many teams from 20-30 would love to have him on their roster.

If Cody Williams is gone by pick #12 ( which he should be) DaRon Holmes will go #12 to the Thunder. He is just too Thunder-EE and fills too much of a need for them. The fact he is a dribble-pass-shoot-defend big that can play multiple positions. Last season he could have transferred anywhere but he stayed in Dayton with a coach who was a Thunder assistant with a strong relationship with Coach D and Presti. The similarities between JDub and Holmes paths to the NBA are parallels.

Surprised Collier’s passing didn’t come up - he’s one of the best, if not the best passer in his class. Also his agile feet and strength give him BIG potential as a defender if he buys in and brings it every game. He showed massive improvement as the season went on. If the shot comes around he’ll be an absolute weapon off ball with the ability to collapse defences in so many different ways. Also I have to say I think Brendon is short selling Missi a bit. I agree he shows very little right now as a passer and will likely never develop as a shooter BUT he has some eye opening flashes of putting the ball on the floor and has even flashed the Pascal spin move. He started playing basketball so late and I think there is so much more room for growth than we’re giving him credit for. Finally he’s a way better defender than just a rim protector. He can actually get out on the perimeter and clamp guards - he arguably has as high as a defensive ceiling as Alex Sarr. He’s not my first pick at 19 but I’d definitely understand it.

A secondary rim protector? Who's the primary? Poetl only blocks shots that run into his hands. Olynyk is beyond pathetic inside. He's an overgrown soft . I really like Holmes because he hits the glass but the Raptors desperately need a real center like Missi or Ware.

i think its missi, he is from camaroon and you are not hearing chatter really linking him to raptors. i really havent seen masai pick a player that has been mentioned alot and linked to raptors. he always surprises with someone that wasnt really talked about or linked to raptors. missi also has links to giants of africa.

i think its yves missi, he is the raptors prototype. he also from camaroon, so has links to giants of africa where masai probably has been following him for years where he doesnt have to bring him in for a workout. yves can even play wing cuz he is so twitchy and athletic and switchable. he reminds me of a young siakam.

i dont think cody williams is there at 19. also its likely raptors take missi at 19 if edey and ware not there. missi is from camaroon and has ties to giants of africa so masai likely been following him for years.

holmes could go in the 20's, if they trade bruce brown they can probably get a pick in the 20's this year to get holmes as well.
