In this undersea society, trash is not only a way of life, but a valuable resource, used for everything from fashion to firearms. But with the presence of trash comes a mysterious infection known as the Gunk, which could spell doom for the entire ocean.

As Kril explores the ocean, he'll gain a variety of Umami Techniques-powerful attacks learned from the denizens of the seas. Punch your enemies with the overwhelming might of a Mantis Shrimp, ensnare them with the horrifying Bobbit Worm, and much more.

Its rough on Switch right now, they are working on patches currently though. With that said, I am loving the game both on the Switch and on Game Pass, definitely a high recommendation from me, it feels like they took older n64 style adventure games and mashed it up with a touch of Dark Souls for this one! Visually I was expecting it to look worse on Switch based onn the comments, it looks pretty much the same with lower res textures. I hope they're able to fix the framerate tho, really wanna get the game on Switch :( Hopefully by the time its patched we could get a physical realese!

This game is super fun but i really cant recommend the switch version unless its the only way you can play it. I have a decent gaming laptop and have been mostly going for the switch versions of games for the convenience of it, but if im being honest i wish i just played this on PC. Switch performance gets pretty damn rough sometimes. ESPECIALLY handheld. Latency goes up and framerate goes down in handheld for this one

Great comparison video, didn’t even know about this game till this past week but it looks like a cool take on the souls formula. Switch version hopefully looks and runs better after all the patchwork that’s needed.

Unfortunately I don’t currently have an Xbox or a Ps5 although I plan on getting a ps5 soon, so switch was my only option, I have a ps4 and I’m thoroughly confused on why this game isn’t on ps4. If it can run on switch it sure as hell can run on ps4.

Seriously. If they can make it run on the Switch, then they could make it run on the last gen consoles. I do remember Blasphemous 2 being PS5 exclusive too…for a time. Then it became available for the PS4. So maybe the same thing happens here?

bro its like a mix of older n64 adventure games with a little dash of dark souls, really a cool damn game! just don't get the switch version if you can play it elsewhere haha
