It’s no secret that the Dyson Airwrap is a coveted, holy grail product for many. After years of testing several hair tools on the market, we’d go out on a limb and say the Airwrap is worth it, is that good, and is one of the best multi-stylers we’ve ever tried. That being said, it’s also no secret that this tool is pricey and always sold out. I have the ion one and very thick hair. It took a minute to get the hang of it, but now my curls last like a week with minimal product. I really love it

it's so fun to see all the dupes 😄still glad to have the real dyson airwrap. btw I've had the original airwrap and it didn't work for my long asian hair, but the new improved set does! I absolutely love mine.

Watched this video and immediately went to Sally’s and picked this up. It’s is amazing! This tool, with your recommendation for the reverie leave in treatment and igk product. My hair has never looked better. It’s almost like at 53 I’ve finally found the holy grail and have no need to even try other products. Whatever will I spend my money on now? 😂😂😂

They have a converter for the airwrap as well that you can put on your airwrap to use supersonic attachments. I got mine today and it works 😆

Love all your reviews! You are so thorough and thoughtful. Have you tried the Dyson 0.8" barrels? The long 0.8' barrel is the best by far. It's the only size I use now.

I just bought the Sally air styler but I think I’m gonna return for the shark because I want the bigger barrel AND the round brush attachment .. ugh I hate returning stuff!

I bought the shark and love it! I used to borrow my step mother's airwrap often, and I find them very comparable. In fact I actually find that the grip of the barrel in the shark os better, especially if you have longer hair like I do!

I recently purchased the Dyson Airwrap. Do to my time constraints I gave up on my first attempt at using it. But thank you for this video and it helped me figure out how I should be holding it for styling. It tired my arms out and I hadn’t even gotten beyond the rough dry.

Loved all 3. I have the Dyson blowdryer but how much is that “adapter?” Then plus the curling wands each ? It might pay to get the Ion Blowdryer n all the attachments. My dry sun blowdryer is not strong enough to blowout my long thick coil curly hair! It honestly doesn’t get hot enough. I have to go over each separate stand like 5 times w/a round brush. Then go in w/my bio tonic flat ion the titanium blades vibrate which makes it amazing! It just takes me like 3 hours. N my back n my arms r so sore! Lol 😂 I luv yr videos. I need that best blowdryer n those attachments! I think the ion one might be for me. I can’t afford the Dyson one. :/ Ty so much for yr through a n opinions it really helps n trying each product out for us! Yr awesome! ❤❤

Hello! Thank you for posting this! I have the supersonic hair dryer, and was hoping someone would maybe make an adapter for the barrels so I can just buy the barrels and use! I read a comment here that it might ruin my hair dryer in the long run, so I feel a bit nervous.

be careful with your hearing ladies!! I put ear plugs in when I am blow drying my hair...and _if_ I don't have any handy I just tear a kleenex in half 2x, wet a piece , smush it into a ball and plug my ears with that.... I did it at all concerts and whenever I went to the bar or clubs too.... if we don't take care of our hearing, we are going to end up shoving something in our ears eventually, and ear plugs are way better than hearing aids!

Ive been looking into the shark because I love the way the dyson works but its just sooo expensive. How long do the curls usually hold when you use the shark? Does it get so hot that its hard to use? Does your hair still feel healthy after using it? Are there any smaller barrel sizes sold separately?

I have both Shark and Dyson. Shark gets hot. The oval brush gets way too hot for me and it's bristles are too rough but the curling barrels are tolerable. (The barrels are the only attachment that Shark uses the coanda effect on. Dyson uses it on several attachments. That's why the difference in price.) My opinion is if you're buying the tool only for the curling barrels then Shark is the way to go. Barrels are better than Dyson as they get hotter and hold the curl better. And I didn't experience heat damage from the barrels. The Shark brush attachments were a different story. They're similar to the Revlon One Step. I can't use the oval dual bristle hot brushes as they rip out and fry too much of my hair. The Dyson brush attachments with the gentle coanda effect are a much better option for me and was well worth the extra money for me. If you find the Revlon One Step brushes to be tolerable, or if you're planning to use the curling barrels primarily, then Shark is definitely the way to go.

I have the Shark and as long as I put in a heat protectant, my hair looks so smooth and shiny and it feels great!

Beach wavers are nice to use! but They do not last! I’ve had 2 so far, and the motors literally caught on fire and exploded in both while it was plugged in the wall!!!!!!

Bought the airstyler. Loved it. It broke after 2 weeks. Their customer service is terrible. It took me a month to get a response. They sent me a new one and it came missing pieces. Now I am back in customer service torture with them. I wouldn't but this product.

Idk about using an adapter with Dyson supersonic hair dryer... I've heard people saying it killed their machine over time. I am too scared to try it on my machine because their hair dryer is expensive.

@@Abi_Jee milabu did another review like 2 months ago. I read from the comment sections. I've also read similar sentiments from Amazon review section where people are saying the adapter is overheated their dryer and has ruined their machine

I purchased the Amazon magnetic barrel (not the attachment shown here) several months ago, and it made my Dyson supersonic overheat and shut off for nearly 10 minutes. Luckily it came back on and is working fine again but I returned that barrel immediately. Now I'm wondering if this new attachment would be better? It never seemed to overheat in the video. But yeah, it's a really expensive dryer to risk.

I haven’t tried the air wrap, but the Dyson dryer makes my hair tangle so bad it’s painful and I’ve never had that before

yes I returned mine for this reason. It dried out my hair terribly which caused lots of tangling, all within one month of use

Ooooof wish I saw this before buying my airwrap off poshmark I literally hate it for curls. I can’t get it to work at allllllllll even with products my hair is a fuzzy mess not pretty like yours 😫😫😫😫 waste of $400 for me lol
