In this video I will show you guys how I save my dying orchid. What I am about to show you is proven hundred times and never failed through out of my experience growing orchids. This method will help you to save your any kind of dying orchid if there is air root. I had almost given up on the orchid I have, until I watched several of your videos. Today I took the orchid out if its pot and cleaned the dead roots off and the rotten roots off and reported her with the bark and miss. Hopefully she will b e happy and bloom for me now. Thank you so much for the learning videos. I will let you know how the orchid does.

I never had issues with my orchids, until I change the pot and now the leaves are wrinkled, looks like the orchids are not hydrated enough, so I ordered some new moss, and will look at it again, will give you feed back

I'm going to try this, Emaan. My favorite orchid is dying from root rot and I'm heart broken! It's the most beautiful deep purple, hybrid, grocery store phal I've ever seen and I know I'll never find it again. If I can't save it, I'll never lay my eyes on an orchid this beautiful as long as I live. I hope this works! 🤞 Thank you so much for making these videos. There’s a spray wax that you can use to kill the white looking bugs, then when the infestation is over you can wipe the leaves with mile lemon water not too much lemon juice tho. The wax spray is mostly for other kinds of plants to make them shine but it works to keep bugs from being attracted to the leaves. A well ventilated spot is good. Thank you for the advice about charcoal.

I had seen another tutorial telling me to just wet the aerial roots 1-2 times a day and dont dare wrap them in moss and thats what ive been doing for the last week with a young orchid i bought that had root rot. (I didnt realize it had no roots and the other 2 i bought seem to be ok, i got 3 young orchids for $15 and i really want all 3 to live) It has been just getting worse and worse so im looking for something that actually works. Lol. It didnt make sense to me that i couldnt constantly keep the aerial roots moist, my intuition was telling me to do it but these are my first orchids so i was relying on the person i watched. I think this is going to help me so much more ❤

20:28 This video was very helpful I’m working with first orchid. It’s having problems. I repotted it the center new leaf is splitting and I’ve lost a leaf and maybe losing another one there is only two leaves left and one is splitting.

You have to soak the moss - is easy to repot . Make a hole for the cup - water can drain out ….

After the suffering Orchids do better, do you transform them back to the bark medium and a normal orchid pot with holes, or do you leave them as you have them there?

Save a orchid if it's really really worth it. Saving one take 6 months and another 1 year to see the full blossom. Or you throw it away and buy a new one for $20 at your local grocery shop.

You did not say about the watering. Do you wait till the moss is dry and then add more water?

I have an orchid that is almost dead although I see it’s trying to grow one you root. It was doing fine and then I put it outside and snails ate all of its roots Plus now I see it has these tiny tiny almost microscopic little bugs in it. I did what you said in the video but finding I’m having a hard time taking all the black off. I don’t want to give up on this little orchid! What should I do? Also, Will these tiny bugs spread to my other orchids that were next to it in other pots? What should I do about these little bugs? Thank you so much for your video, it was very informative!!

Yes bugs will spread and keep it separate and you need spray insecticide and outside not good for it, put under growing light too

When you put your sick orchid in sphagnum moss and lava rock; how long should it stay that way before producing roots? How much epsom salt did you put in the fertilizer? Should it be placed in low light or bright light to grow new roots? My phalaenopsis orchid has 1 root left, Help!

If one root left, keep it under growing light and water it when the medium is absolutely dry, for 4 gal water one spoon epsom salt, one spoon orchid food, two spoons calmag
