Watching the slow motion train-wreck that is the SNP General Election campaign is a joy to behold. The downfall of the ScotNats is a joy to behold and I am here for it.

Excellent Sturgeon promoted divisions and grievance between Scotland and England we are a family all together. Millions of taxpayers money is missing. Sturgeon used to drive about with dark glasses and a hat to hide herself in Scotland. Many thanks.

All together you say. What about say the British exit from the European Union? Where all regions of Scotland voted to stay, but were due to numerical reasons were taken out. The desire for independence is nothing about hating the English, or England, but disapproving of the parliament based in London, and the desire to make decisions for Scotland in Scotland, so we actually get what we voted. Plenty of countries have gained their independence from Britain, may politicians have even said it is a right for any country make its own way in the world, except for Scotland it seems.

@@Mucklegipeit’s typical of some of Scottish people that they don’t get their own way they start shouting and saying they were treated wrong but the voting for Brexit was the hole of the UK and the final result was that we came out so stop whinging and get over it

@@johnfisher7587 Hole of the of the United Kingdom, or the whole of the United Kingdom. A typo I presume. On that we were assured the only way Scotland could remain in the European Union was to reject independence, then we were taken out.

I can remember the Conservative Party’s gathering in the village hall in Crathes, indeed they could hardly fill it, accompanied by Theresa May’s disastrous leaflet distribution, in what is or was supposed to be a Conservative stronghold. You also seem to think the subject of independence is only about the Scottish National Party, the independence movement is more than that, the SNP being an important part, but not the only one. Why is it so important for someone who is not resident in Scotland that a party or political viewpoint fail?

If the SNP lose ground at both Westminster and Holyrood how will Scotland achieve independence genuine question.
@DS2464167 күн бұрын
because they have caused so much division and hatred within communities, they have deliberately created a distinction between being Scottish and British and English and British, as if we are being so hard done to in Scotland, so it affects the whole of the UK, not Just Scotland if the SNP lose a good number of seats
@Mucklegipe7 күн бұрын
@@DS246416 If people want to vote for a political party that is their right to do so, and given one of the founding principles of that party is the goal of independence, and this is something they desire what is wrong with that? The Conservatives even changed their name to include ’and Unionist’ party, yet they have failed to achieve the aim to be chosen as the elected party in Scotland since 1955. On division, the Conservatives and Labour parties used to be at the opposite ends of the political spectrum, but nether were accused of such division. If people do not agree with any political party they are free to choose not to vote for them, as we will be on the 5th of this month. If people cannot use such a mechanism, such as policies to win the hearts and minds and votes but prefer to criticise the opposition I feel that is a poor choice.
