Maybe they should make good female characters and we wouldn’t have to be wary of literally EVERY female lead they try to put in place. And the “review bombs” weren’t review bombs, there were prescreenings for the first three episodes that some people got to see and then reported about to the masses. Additionally, with Disney’s recent track record, I doubt any of us expected a full 180 in the RIGHT direction.

The worst part about the show in my opinion is that it wastes its setting. The era of the High Republic is one of the most violent periods of time in the Star Wars universe. There’s all these incredible stories that have been written in the form of books about all the different kinds of conflict going on in the High Republic era that the show could’ve adapted. Crafting an entirely new story and on top of that, calling the High Republic era, “a time of peace and prosperity” makes no sense to me.

If only there was a diverse castmember on the council who worked closely with Yoda, had a darker complexion, maybe had a name like a old medieval weapon, who had a well fleshed out backstory on a unforgiving jungle planet where he and his brother had to take on a settling force with a renamed force because the planet handnt been settled so they had to give it a name like jungle magic, that might have been a good story, but too bad we dont have a characters like that.

One correction, the force didn’t birth the girls. The girls were created by the leader of the group (the black woman) who impregnated the zabrak witch. So they weren’t made BY the force, the witches made them using the force Anakin is the one made purely with by the force
