ANOTHER FRAUD BY SBS OFFICIALS

The State Bank of Sikkim, the prized asset of the people of Sikkim, is again in the new for the wrong reasons. Earlier this week, there was a major bribery case and FIRs have been registered at Vigilance Department against five senior SBS officials. The investigating agency had raided the residences and offices of these accused SBS officials in four districts, and seized a number of incriminating documents.
Now another cheating case is registered against two SBS officials who have been arrested on Friday by the Vigilance Police. Their alleged crime - using criminal conspiracy, cheating and forgery to misappropriate pensions of six dead pensioners.
