Another Great Day On The Farm!

Today was a wonderful day on the small family dairy farm! We took care of our cattle to start off, by cleaning out the barn. Then we got to have fun moving equipment around. Weather was perfect for spring. Nice and warm with sun and a little bit of rain here and there. Thank you all for watching! We hope you all have a great day!

In 1980 my twin brother in Florida showed up at my parents home in Massachusetts my wife an I were there too,both sporting new beards,taken new jobs as a Cdl driver,never told my parents or each other,my Father said you guys are scary all ways doing things together .😊

I keep my beard trimmed short, usually a quarter to a half inch in the summer, a little longer in the winter. It's been several years since I shaved it fully. I'd say if the wife hates it shaved, I'd try to keep it short in the summer. But at the end of the day, you have to do what you want. :)

Ain't nobody happy if mama ain't happy! But as a guy that's 60 I have had beard for 42 years, only shaved it once and my kids were scare of me until I grew it back.Keep the beard

I have had my full beard since I got out of service in 1974. I do trim it regularly. Well most of the time anyway. I enjoy your show and the farm reminds me of my uncle's. That is where I worked every summer from fifth grade thru high school in 1972. Back then I got $5.00 a day plus room and board. The farm was outside of Hixton. Keep up the good work Greg B.

Duetz-Allis chisel plow?? First time I ever saw one. Don't forget to switch out the pin Aaron.... Happy plowing. If the wife likes it, best keep it. Part of the give and take of married life. Maybe trim it back a little like Pa!?

We have the orange version of that plow. We also added 4 more shanks and expanded the frame. We pull that with a 5488.

I've never been more than 2 days unshaven at 52 yrs old. There are only less than 5 days a year I don't shave. Shaving is fun enjoyable every day ritual. Pigs and beards don't mix. Great video. John T

As a fellow Wisconsinite, I remove the chinsulation in spring to get a base tan before I shave again mid summer. Its hot out there. 😂

Also love the Oliver tractors. I have a 1850 diesel, 1650 diesel , just bought a 1655 diesel. The 1850 and 1655 have set back fronts. The 1650 is super handy for cutting hay and square baling. Also have a kubota M105X with cab and loader. I have a 2030 JD with loader a 730 diesel and a 60 gasser. Also I just got my grandpas D-14 narrow front Allis and a Allis C.

My Dad grew a beard for our town’s Centennial in 1973. Just a wide goatee. We all hated it when he shaved it off, so he grew it back and kept a small goatee and mustache for the rest of his life. Your face works either way. Heh, man, the kid’s got style. How can he not have a date this year?

Wife hates it when I shave. Tells me I can only do it when she is out of town for a week or so. We need a “reset” every now and then though.

Every time I thought about shaving my winter beard off it either got cold yet again or we got more snow. Still waiting just to make sure spring is here to stay lol

I would grow a beard in the winter back when I was milking cows and outside more. Then there would be some nice spring day and I knew it was time to shave it off. My wife wasn’t a fan; she likes the stubbly look, but not a full beard. But she understood why. Thanks for sharing!

13:13 As a bearded man I’m a fan of the beard but once a year I clean shave as well. Usually right about now as it starts warming up just to start fresh. My wife says the same thing

I just found your family's channel. Never have I found so much happiness in such a variety of equipment. I am a farmall believer my whole life. I have always been able to share the respect and love for other equipment. Which state are you in? With so many hills you work around. One thing for sure. It is a shocker seeing you without the beard! Like your dad said, you look 5 years younger! i have shaved mine off 1 time since 9th grade. I have gone down to a goatee from a full beard. but i won't shave that! i have no chin!

Just finished watching the video and once again very good. I think you should keep your beard ritual cause then you and wife get to have what you want. Mason looked awesome in that tux hope his prom went good!!! Can’t wait to see more of the goings on on the farm!!! God bless

Beard for sure bro ! Im with the wife on this one . I have had my beard for 20 years all i do is take it down to a 1/4 inch in the summer and let it go in the winter well i do touch it up now and again

Sure changed your appearance without the beard!!! I've had earlobe length sideburns for years. Never had a full beard or mustache. My late wife always liked the sideburns, but threatened to clip off a beard or mustache...so there you go. Glad to see you moving along toward fieldwork. My son has the ground that was fit chisel plowed. I started running the disk over some of it. Hoping to get a few acres of oats in, then move on to corn and beans. Finally starting to warm up...had frost several days last week.

The Prom suit is great. I'm almost 57 and have never grown a beard. I have a circle pattern on my jaw that doesn't grow hair well. Usually shave just once a week.

No beard is my choice: you look about 5 years younger. I tried to grow a beard in 1967 upon my discharge from the USAF. My dad hated it. I kept it for about 2 weeks ang couldn't stop scratching my chin, so off it came. The reason Mason lacked a date for the prom: he showed his tux to the girls up front. I hope you guys have a safe and successful planting season!

Enjoyed this thoroughly, from the cleaning up, spreading out and the sartorial elegance at the end. My vote is for no beard, especially in the summer. You have plenty of time to look older than you are. My husband tried a beard for me when we were first married, but like him better without it. He did keep the mustache though. Have fun and congratulations on the new healthy looking calf.

Keep the beard you wear it well and if your wife likes it that’s the confirmation you need;) I use a #2 guard on a clippers to keep my beard under control

I love growing a beard but here in the last few years it bothers me with heat when I hunted I kept a beard but it's cold out at 5 in the morning and wintertime most wives don't care for them that much that's a private situation with enough being said about that Great video keep them coming and if they are long that's even better love watching them

Can't criticize Mason's prom jacket since it reminds me of the flowered Nehru jacket i was brave enough to wear back in the late 60's. We thought we were hippies, beads and all. Wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything like that today. After i wore it a couple of times it hung in my closet. After that my mom decided it looked good on her because it covered up her butt. You might say she resembled my wide glide Harley. I don't think it would be a good idea for mason to wear it milking the cows like someone else suggested. It would make the cows nervous and they'd kick off the milkers.

You guys are a hoot. You have a picturesque farm with the rolling hills. I am from a flatter part of the state. When it comes to field work, we have it a bit easier.
