Just remember that it is the indigenous people of Norway, the Sami, who own the northern lights. So if you see it, it would be nice if you pay the fee to the Sami. The easiest way is to contact the Sami embassy in New York to book an appointment to pay the fee.

According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the peak aurora viewing time is within an hour or two of midnight, local time. So if you're in NY, you can probably start looking for it anytime now.

If you knew anything about how HAARP (or its more modern analogues) operate, you'd know that it can excite about 0.0000000001% of the thermosphere compared to a global solar storm, and how ridiculous the conspiracy nuts sound when they say HAARP had anything to do with it.

@drewpknutz1410 Watched from a place in eastern Oregon far from the city lights, and the lights looked very colorful with diverse and shifting patterns. At one point in the night they seemed to be dancing. Other times it did kinda look like plain wispy cloud. The display changed over time. You might have caught it at the wrong time, or from a place with too much light pollution to appreciate the colors.

Also light pollution prevents you from seeing it. Unless you are WAYYYYY in the forest somewhere you won't see anything. If there is a town or city within 15-20 miles the light pollution will block out visibility

I'm writing you today brothers and sisters because I care about you and where you spend eternity. Heres the Good news though, God loved you enough to send his only son into the world in the flesh to be crucified for our sins..yes that's right christ was sinless and bore our sins in his body, because without the shedding of blood there could be no remission of sin. So he was crucified on our behalf he was dead 3 days and then rose from the dead, victorious having defeated death, and now is seated at the right hand of God interceding on the behalf of the beilever. So that whoever repents of their sins and puts their faith and trust in Jesus christ as lord and savior, will be saved from the judgment of hell and will have everlasting life with God for eternity.
