i live in British Columbia Canada ,i retired from trucking about 12 years ago,we have electronic logs here too now but were still using paper logs when i retired .i cant believe how restrictive your hours are right down to the last minute,like you said your off duty time is supposed to be for relaxing but if you have to keep such a close eye on the clock the whole time that must be very stressful,you are doing a great job by detailing your movements as you go along and describe what you are doing.i did dump trailer work back in the 70"s and still remember having to watch out for wires and roof corners etc. keep up the good work. yogi.

Joe Public doesn’t know the stress and that feeling you get after finding a shower that works whilst living on the road.. I’ve ended up buying a shower that I can charge in the truck and then hide in the trailer and have one as the facilities in the U.K. are that bad! But you're OK - that's the main thing. When I hear your dilemmas about hours, driving time and so on, It makes me appreciate just how free I was driving a small van! Brian

Great Video just stumbled across your YT channel. Excellent to see a young woman showing the guys how to do it correctly and legally well done I will continue to watch your channel 👌

Onboard scales and only one trailer plus you get 45 min rest breaks. Easy life 😉. I have to self load 2 trailers with good guesswork so as to not overload on axle groups and I only get 20mins break after 5 hours duty time 😉. Onya though Jemma for trucking in Blighty. It's not for the faint-hearted. I left it behind over 10 years ago now after having a gut full of English winters. That's what gave me the determination to move to Australia and drive roadtrains. It took a while to get sorted but that's what I do here in Western Australia. No more freezing temperatures for me🙂. If you ever fancy a change of scenery, look me up. Also, I've not heard the word "lorry" spoken for yonks😆. Love it!

Hello Jemma new to your channel how nice to young ladies driving trucks, love the way you talk through what's going on, our breaks when I 1st started driving were 3 15mins or a 20mins and 25mins to make up to the 45mins I am now 64years young lol keep up the good work😊 🎉

Hey Jemma, I’ve just found your channel and it’s bloody fascinating. So this is just a shout to keep going. I know what it’s like to hit the KZfaq wall and don’t even what to think about it for weeks on end…. But the old Al Gore -rhythms don’t like that. Keep pushing if you can, the pressure will lift and you’ll be glad you hung onto the channel. It gets tough, but it really is worth the hassle and you’re taking off a treat!

Hi jamma good to see you back hope you have got everythink done that you needed to move the house on its not been the same as reading the comments from your fans wondering what happened to you then mum explained. Any way great video great driving forward and reversing spot on showers never change been like it for the last 30 years you would think they make more effort for us truck drivers once again thank you see you next week 👍👍👍

At least you got a shower even if it's luke warm, when I was driving, 1980's into the 90's you were lucky to get a shower once a week ! most of the time it was a strip down wash from your plastic bowl outside the truck with water boiled in the kettle, all very well for blokes but difficult for the Ladies. Good quality fully serviced truck stops were few and far between in the UK then with most only having a sink and toilet if that, different proposition in Europe when I was on the Italy run.

Never had a microwave in my truck (back in the stone age)... Ran a 2 burner gas stove on the drivers side fuel tank (only 1000lt of diesel so no problem). Nothing better than a hot cuppa.
