I hate being susceptible to conspicuous consumption, but sometimes it just happens. I had no idea that I needed a crunk cup until Lil Jon posed with his. I had no idea that I needed vegan water until Josef Lincoln showed me the light. And now, I find that I need special vegan ingredient detection glasses to facilitate my Aldi shopping trips.

Sweet sassy molassey! I can't wait to earn that badge! We've been vegan for about a year and a half and we've been running for a little over a year. One of my favorite things about changing over to a vegan lifestyle has been no longer having to explain how I can be a chef who doesn't like eggs. As you can probably imagine, the name of your channel was very appealing to someone who has had a lifelong hatred of eggs.

Katie Thielen Craig is so kind and has offered guidance . I am really trying hard . We don't have great variety At my Aldi here in Sydney but you just have to look . I love this family ,they make me feel good on days when my body won't cooperate and it's just a feel good channel. They in no way force the vegan they just live it , they do it so well. So, it appears Morningstar has changed their packaging. I was in the store a few days ago, and all of the packages looked different and they we're all green. I checked the ingredients on all. Some were vegan, some were vegetarian, but all of the packages were green, no more brown. I check the labels anyway, but this is just a pain.

The gardein is best when you throw the sauce in the pan after cooking the pieces it turns into a nice glaze. P.S. Be sure to turn the heat off/down before throwing the sauce in

Am I the only one that loves Gardein actual mock but but dislikes their sauces? I make my own sauce to go with them (usually sweet chilli, ginger and sesame seeds), but I certainly do as you suggest and get it a little caramelized in the pan.

Think I'll stick with pie, cookies & oatmeal versions. lol Have you ever tried Buttercup squash, I cook it & mash it with butter, so freaking good. So is rutabaga & turnip. Yummy! lol OK I'm done. LOL

On the Gardein Mandarin Orange Chick’n , after I brown them I put the sauce in the skillet with them and it makes a thicker sauce. Their Szechuan beefless strips are really good as well.

You should try grilling during the winter if you have a place that's covered but not enclosed. There's something about working the grill in chilly weather. We love it.

Look for the sweet tango variety of apple. So good. I found it at Walmart. Sweet, crispy, a slight tang.

We do have an Aldies here in MN. I have never been but might try them this week. I typically shop at Trader Joes and Cub. Cub doesn't have many Vegan frozen meals.

I hadn't either until I moved from AZ to MN 4 years ago. They are everywhere here. We have two Aldies within a 10mile radius. I like the look of the produce and the frozen vegan you showed. I like to stay away from the processed stuff as much as possible but every now and then it's nice to have something to just throw together or for a Junk meal lol.

We take tofu and cut it in little squares and coat it in corn starch and bake it until it crispy and make a orange chicken sauce and eat that. My husband didn't even realize it wasn't chicken at first.. And its so CHEAP.

I tried that orange chicken last week, I cooked it in a pan to get a nice crispy glaze and had it with rice, broccoli and carrots. :D

I love vegtables but meat makes the icing on the cake especially turtle and venison and rabbit and squirrel and beef and aligator and fish and pretty much all meat and definatly eggs!! Going to cook some duck eggs with coconut oil

Craig... For the chicken stuff I add fresh/frozen pineapple extra orange juice and heat it in a pan and toss. Then serve with tons of veggies and rice

Love the funny edits 😆 On another note, do you think you could make a video about running for beginners? I began running two months ago by myself with no knowledge whatsoever - I know, bad idea - and lately I've been feeling a lot of pain on my shins, right over my tibia (feels like I got kicked really hard on my lower legs 😫) which leads me to believe that it might be the beginning of a potential stress fracture since I didn't start running very gradually. So I guess I wanted to know more about injury prevention, do's and don't's when you're still a newbie and how to take care of yourself in general. I mean, if you feel like making a video about it :)

Yeah I could make a video about that, but just make sure you're not doing too much too soon and make sure you're keeping your easy runs easy and your hard runs hard. My Costco only has those orange chicken nugget and everything else is only vegetarian 😣 it's so sad, cause my only other option is Safeway and it's like $6 for tiny bags or like 4 burgers. Usually just make stuff myself.
