G'day mate I have had a VN Calais as a project for years now, nearly finished, was grubby and not loved. Reason for persisting with it is because it has unusual options like no cruise, no climate, 5.0l and manual transmission all verified through Holden, been interesting. Great to watch you play with your cars, keep it up. :)

Interior colour is Palmino, relatively common back in the day, not so much now.

This mate of yours with a lot of VN's, if he is looking to move any in the next year or so I am still on the hunt for a 5L to do an Aero build with or a super straight roller to build something wild from. Sadly, the days of getting a cheap complete parts car to help with a resto are long gone for the VN (it was about 5 years back that donor VPs were hard to find) so getting a project car that’s as close as possible to complete, and in restorable or good condition, is very important these days. I’m fortunate that I owned my VS2 Calais for so long, and kept it maintained, so a future restoration will really only be paint and a mechanical refresh. Interior is still mint.
