How do you change the batteries? Also a baby shower would be beautiful! Love this piece!

Thank you kindly, April! I am glad you liked the project! The batteries can be changed by twisting the tapered candles off their base. I only buried mine so deep for the benefit of the video as they had residue on the base from another project and they would not have stood straight. However when you are making this, your candles will be new and would not need such a deep hole. As such, you will be able to simply place glue on the bottom of the base making turning it on and off as well as changing the batteries easy. I hope this helps. ") Thanks for watching! If you glue the candles how are you supposed to turn them on and off ?

Great question, Alterjunkie! You don't have to. I had to because, as I mentioned, I was reusing candles that already had foam glued to them. The candles would not have stood up had I not glued them down. If you do glue them I would suggest putting one dot of glue on both sides for security purposes, and not using nearly as much glue as I did. Thanks for watching! Hi Danielle this arrangement is so beautifully decorated.It showcases how talented you are coming up with the most appealing centrepiece. I love it, I would use it on my dining room table 👍👍 I know some battery operated candles the switch and battery is on the bottom how would you turn these candles on if they're glued

Thank you kindly, Linda! I am glad you liked the project! The tapered candles twist to turn on and off. Once you glue the bottom of the candle in you can still twist them on and off. I had to make a deeper and wider space to secure my candles because there was residue from another project on them. But you won't have to. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! Danielle Walcott I think I would glue a short glass to the base instead and place the candle inside of that. This way you can just pull out the candle to turn off or on and change batteries easily. Just an idea from my peanut gallery, lol 😊. But I love this idea!
