There were loads of renovation works going on while we stayed at the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar last year, so we decided to return and check out the new Royal Level Adults Only section that we saw being built.
We spent a lovely week in Suite 5116 and highly recommend it.
The sun was constant and glorious and, oddly, there was very little of the usual Fuerteventura breeze to give you some relief from it.
The town was also a LOT busier than it was the last time we were here, which was lovely to see, but if you find yourself in CDF and there's masses of people in town then make sure to make reservations at any restaurants you really want to eat at - plenty of places were turning people away simply because they had no tables available for the rest of the night.
