This goes out to Giehua (?) from earlier this years. I apologize this has taken so long but here you go! I enjoyed both are these very much. I didn't listen to MJ when this song was released, but now I really appreciate it. Then Putri's cover brings a lot of emotion to it. I hope you enjoy!

NICE!!! This channel gets so many great suggestions. The people that watch this site are true music lovers with great taste. Heep sending them folks. I makes me and I'm sure others very happy. Jeff I'm sure has a list that is long. That is ok by me. He will have to postpone old age until he finishes. A plus for us fans. I'll go with Putri on this one. She played it her way and I like that. Great to see u back, Jeff. I was just wondering couple of days ago how come u r not on anymore. Glad u r back to original artists vs covers. Take good care of yourself so we can hear more pro comments from you. Putri was 12,13 @ this time, contributing for the Covid campaign. I was focusing on the piano-playing & enjoying the beauty of it. We already know what a great voice she has, & that cry u mention is a trademark. She's the Emote Queen, & she's from Indonesia.

Thank I’ve been trying to start doing videos at least a few times a week I doubt I’ll get to 4 or 5 day like the good old days 😀 due to my heart But my goal is every day soon! I believe these singers were both good and doing a heart breaking song! Thank you and keep checking in!

This world does need more people trying to make it a better place. A very nice song. I’ve listened to many of Michael songs ,more in last years then all the previous put together. This one is new to me tonight. If you can, watch the movie ish movie ‘This is it’ sometime. I know I’ve mentioned it before but I really enjoyed it. Since it is a glimpse of the preparation for his last concert tour before he died, I think it shows who he was as an entertainer and artist and person as well. No matter what other stories flew around true or not. Putri sang it beautifully. I liked your commentary on this. Both the channels, you and Sue make the world a little bit better place for those like me that watch them. Take care. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you James you’re very kind. I agree we need more people to try and help each other. Sadly, I fear we’re going the other way. There is so much selfishness and division I sometimes wonder if we can turn it around-more about others and less about ourselves. That might be the 1:30 a.m. talking so ignore me! I will watch the movie. You may very well have spoken of it but my brain sometimes doesn’t help me. I took a picture of this conversation so it’ll be in my phone I love Putri and her voice. Really her whole demeanor tells me she’s a lovely person And an amazing musician! I’m so glad you’re apart of our little clan Take care James

This song was released in 1991, and yes Michael wrote this whole song himself. Michael was a great humanitarian and really cared about the world and the children, many of his songs had similar themes, "Earth Song", "Man in the Mirror", "The Lost Children", etc. It is estimated that he donated about 500 million dollars to charity during his lifetime, and the amount can be even larger, since most of his donations were made annonimously, with no cameras around. He is even in the Guiness Book of World Records as the celebrity who gave the most to charity. It is unfortunate no one talks about all the great things he did for the world, but I guess it's like Michael once said: "Good news doesn't sell".

Never heard this before. It's sweet. I'll nudge you about the We Are the World vid links I sent with a comment. In a small way, each individually is kinda-sorta-almost like a bunch of mini-covers as we get so many personalized styles in one package. At least if you squint and feel generous about it.
