Keep it a buck, most lyrically inclined cats usually never go big or get the most props. Too many cats from the 90s on down done got slept on or weren't mainstream BIG (AZ, King Los, Ras Kass, Blu, Jon Connor, Cory Gunz, etc.). I'm more concerned with new cats getting a solid fanbase to eat off the their labor for the long haul because this rap game is fickle as hell these days!!! Bars only go but so far in this game!!! Joyner isn't that great lyrically.I've listened to Joyner's catalog all the way, and he doesn't have the ability to write at all. The metaphors that he uses aren't cleverly written or witty at all. He writes multi-syllable rhyme schemes to hide the fact that he sucks at double entendres, complex metaphors etc. Ironically, the one decent punchline he has was actually stolen from the battle rapper dizaster.
