Unless you run at lest 12-15 shots of the same ammo throught the rifle before you try shoot for a group your not going to see a stable barrell perfor to that ammo. Have a look at the chrono figures at the first 10 shot and after that you will see a settling of more constent speeds. The first few shots of the SK LR each moved away right with the next shot till it settled laying its residual in the barrel. Many even clean barrels between ammo but ammo will need to bed in after a clean and need the 10-15 shots to settle.

Thanks for "keeping it real!" I guess if you are a competitor and must win, maybe the spendy ammo. For me it is hard to have fun spending that much for ammo that is maybe only a half of a tenth better.

I never had good luck with R50. I had good accuracy with Special Match.

Those two are definitely the best ammos iv found for my 1710. The r50 has the speed on the back of the box mine definitely shoots better with the faster speeds 333/4

The first SK groups looked like it could have been wind. The R50 not so much. If my gun only shot $20 a box ammo it would be time for a new barrel or time to say bye-bye.😊

You can get R50 an R100 when in stock for 19.50 still not cheap but I’ve gotten some of the best SD’s from it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t be popping off to much of that R50 😆can’t find it anywhere right now I’ve been shooting the R100 for match ammo an I’m starting to run DANGER low 😢
