ugh why do i relate with every damn song of yours… my boyfriend and i broke up 2 months ago, he loves me so much and i love him. we’re a match made in heaven, best friends. but he’s been struggling with his self growth and mental health, he’s on the way for the better but felt like he didn’t want to hold me back from getting what i deserve, as much as he wanted to. so he let me go… and i want him back so bad. i know our story isn’t over, i just want him to see for himself that he’s the man i need and want forever. he doesn’t think he’s good enough for me, i wish he can see himself the way i see him. and i hope when he comes back, it’s not too late. loving means leaving is how he feels, this one too and next life is my pov. you get us.

I also relate to this. We broke up a little bit more than a month ago, because of the same reason. He also lost his feelings for me even tho i tried my best to keep his. I know it wasn't the real reason bc he said he was struggling with himself... I know our story is not over and i hope he will reach out to me soon

I know the feeling… but from his perspective and yours at the same time. I left my fiancée of 2yrs. Because I didn’t want to hold her back nor keep her from achieving her dreams… its literally been killing me every single day since i let her go….😭. Being an empath is an incredibly difficult part of my life and has been for years. I know how she felt when I left her and at the same time I also know that she loves me more than life itself but although at the time I felt as if i was letting her go for all the right reasons i also fear that ill never see her again either. At least not in this lifetime 😭. And that in and of itself is what hurts me the most…💔. I broke my heart doing what I still believe was the right thing to do for her sake. But even though I believe it to be right doesn’t mean that I don’t question my decision every moment of every single day of my life.

I remember when I introduced you to this one guy. A guy that meant so much to me, but I was scared. I'm damaged and couldn't believe he'd actually want to be with me. I pushed him away. Until he actually gave up. Replaced me. Without a word of goodbye. Nothing. Our favorite song was Hurricane. He'd sometimes send me lyrics from one of your songs. Or a photo that he's listening to you. We planned on going to your concert in Prague together one day. After that I couldn't listen to you for quite a while. It hurt. It reminded me of him too much. I still can't listen to Hurricane because of that. But I'm healing. I can finally listen to your songs again. I can finally sing with you again. Play your songs on my guitar. Yes, I still cry when I listen to them sometimes. It still reminds me of him. But I'm doing better. Thank you for this new song Anson.❤

When I first found your music I was in love with how much.. heart you put into everything. I was engaged at the time and like.. at least half of your songs I totally resonated with, like broken, the classic. I think I understood the rest but like, I hadn't been through it yet.
