if anyone‘s interested, relating to qt‘s idea that she inherited her fear of flying, that is actually a phenomena and concept! its conceptualised by Marienne Hirsch and Michael Rothberg and its called post-memory! it was first understood through trauma studies on the children of Holocaust survivors, but now its recorded in many different trauma instances!

Shy doesn't mean agoraphobia, which is what you're describing. Also medication to help. I also hate leaving my house but I take medicine & I can go out & interact better than I did without it
