Piano strings are hit, rather than plucked, so I think piano strings would not sound like piano on a guitar unless you hit the strings like on a piano

Ok, with that last question I can expand a bit on it, let's assume the lowest bpm acceptable is 60bpm to 340bpm (highest) so if we do (340*16,000)+(339*16,000)+.... (60*16,000) we get 899,200,000 (this will be our power) (this is the easy part) now with the notes I'll take the 49 number from before, add palm muted notes and pinch harmonics variations of those note and half step and full step bends, so 49+49+46(47?)+(46*2) (as you cannot pinch a stop nor the open low E, and the other aspect I don't know about tying pinch harmonics (also I'm not gonna add natural harmonics to this because you can tie them, it wont change the number by a lot in the end anyway) so we have a definite 236 single notes (now with ditones we're gonna assume you aren't making a 5 fret stretch for chords maximum of 4 fret stretch (ex. 1 on low E and 5 on A) Ditones: rule 1: a lot of these probably wouldn't ever be used because they are just awful rule 2: if a chord contains the exact same note same octave (so like 5 on low E and 0 on A) rule 3: maximum 4 fret stretch (open notes are allowed as well) that will not be it's own separate chord or ditone. for my own sanity I will only be doing ditones so starting on low E fret 5 there is any note from 0-9 on all other strings can be played (except for 0 on A) so there's 49, for Ef6 ( f6 meaning 6th fret i'll use this notation from now on) there's 50 for Ef6 and all the way to Ef18 so 13*50 is 650+49+45+45+40+40+35+35+30+30+110 (22*5 for Ef0) no. of ditones with a low E root note is 1,109*4 (4,436) as either both or neither can be palm muted now seeing some of these are the same lets take away 5*4*10 (200) so there is 4,236 ditones. Add the notes and ditones and we have 4,472 So the number of guitar solo's with no more than 2 notes played together at the same time while following the original rules and adding a few extra is 4,472^899,200,000 or in E notation 9.008E3282531213 scientific notation 9.008*10^3,282,531,213

What is the stupidest way you can tune a guitar (within a 12-tone system) and why? A few guesses: 1. All strings tuned to the same note 2. Strings tuned a tritone apart 3. Strings tuned so high they immediately snap when you strum them 4. Standard tuning but with a capo on the highest fret

My brother built a recording studio into his house. Split off a room, stuffed the walls we built with denim cotton and built baffles with the remainder of the stuff. When he'd go to set the mics for his drums, we'd both hear a reverb from somewhere in the house, turns out it was the bathroom just down the hall. We put a mic in there and recorded a few snare hits. After the initial punch from the snare, a couple seconds later we'd hear the "waahhhhhhhhh" from the bathroom mic. Stupid, funny, and totally cool.

Instead of helium, create hydrogen at home using electrolysis. Just be careful around fire.
@sumbirdy1741
@sumbirdy1741 4 жыл бұрын
Yes but then you have to separate it from the oxygen, compress it, and electrolysis is extremely slow and inefficient not to mention you would need to do this in a vacuum. But assuming you could acquire a vacuum chamber to which you electrolyze water over the course of several months, then separate and remove the oxygen, and compress the hydrogen, sure you could fill some balloons and float a guitar with fewer balloons and without helium.
@EddSjo
@EddSjo 4 жыл бұрын
@@sumbirdy1741 you don't need a vaccum, but you need a closed system. I think it's possible to add something to react to the oxygen in the gas mixture. Powdered iron or aluminium (would have to be careful because the reaction is exothermic) should work. Maybe even charcoal. Otherwise, freeze the gas to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen.

The math for the guitar solos v atoms are accurate. But to include the possibility of playing chords or multiple notes all you would need to do is create a factoral. If we consider six strings and the possibility you could hit any combination of said strings on one fret it would be 6! (This does not include barres and I know you only have four fingers.) But we need to consider the combination of said strings across a reasonable number of frets which as we go up the neck becomes larger so we would need to use an incremental growth fourmula to do it truly properly, but since I don't wanna write it down I'm just gonna say that for the first 9 frets you can only hit notes from 1-5 spanning those five frets so it's (6!*(4*5!)) After that I'll say you can span six frets just because this has already gotten super complicated lol. And of course as we get closer to 22 they have to decrease so eventually it looks like this (6!*((4*5!)*(5*6!)*(4*7)*(3*8)*(2)*(3)*(4))) So after solveing the inner most parts of the equation you come to all the possible places you could put your fingers at any one time, and multiply it by the 6! To have any place you could put your fingers on any combination of strings.

Actually no, not really. You can Mary the Cents of the tuning, and the Hrz of the song which will influence the accentation and many other things. There are also acoustic guitars and 32 String guitars and possibilitys to create Tönes with the guitar that are comparable to percussion, high episches, everything with pedals, Talkboxes, Midis, Location, e.g. There are infinite amount of guitars solos but if we want to calculator the amount of good sounding(not jazz) guitar solos we need to dig very deep into the music theory and math
