The heat shield in the corner is very cool (pun intended). Dairy barns are disappearing in our region. It's good to see some of the old material reused.👍

I was a woodheater installer for 6 years. Morso were not common in my neck of the woods, but I did fit a few. They burn hot - like, 'fires of hell and damnation' hot. As for the squeak, have you tried using graphite? Might last longer; it has worked for me on some things before...👍

I heat with wood looks perfect to me I have a pellet stove in the basement a wood insert upstairs the insurance company wanted pictures if you do it right its ok
