Hello from Florida. I so enjoy your videos. I love seeing young adults embracing gardening. I am a retired lady originally transplanted from Ohio to Florida in 1974. Your gardens remind me of my parents, aunts and grandparents gardens from long ago and bring back wonderful memories. Gardening here in central Florida is very different but still very enjoyable. One of your videos popped up as recommended in my feed a few weeks ago (I broke my wrist in June after a fall while gardening and I have had a lot of time on my hands lately lol), so I have been watching your past videos and am hooked.😀 By the way, I like your vocals you have started adding to your videos, you have a lovely voice. What a small world! Both my sons are Army at Fort Benning (we live an hour away from there). My oldest is Infantry and my youngest is a Drill Sergeant there now. I stumbled upon your channel because I love to watch gardening videos. I’ve been enjoying them, your garden is so beautiful. In South Georgia our humidity is so high and the bugs are plentiful, it is difficult to keep our plants looking that good throughout the summer. I would love to visit Mackinaw Island one day, the videos I’ve seen from there are gorgeous. Great video today. As far as Mackinaw Island it would be fun to see the kites on the beach and the view up at Fort Mackinaw. I remember the white painted brick building and red geraniums!!

Also, I've never been to Mackinac so anything you can show us would be great especially the gardens. Try to run Jack Barnhart down if you can, see what he's up to. I know his company did a total redesign of the lake side of the Hotel Iroquois, I'd love to see how that's doing. I'm curious if there is property to sell there, or do you basically have to inherit a house to own one there? I love the whole idea of a place without traffic, that's a true vacation! The first time we went to visit her, they took us to Mackinac Island. It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We went in mid July and at that time down south the flowers are struggling to survive, but they were just flourishing there.

That's how I get my plants too! I buy on sale or clearance! I learned it from my Mama! She was a super shopper, raising us kids alone on little money. We didn't have cable but had movies we could watch, went on bike rides, played outside (with our Mom). Went on picnics, to the park, she read to us and it was such a great childhood.

I love Macanaw Island. I went 2 years ago. I used to work on Post at Ft Hood Texas as a contract dental assistant. I took care of many soldiers during my time there. I wonder if your brother was ever stationed at Ft. Hood. You are such a sweet person to watch. I love your voice too.

My boyfriend and I may go to Mackinac Island for the flower show. We really don’t know where to try to stay that is relatively close and that’s not so very expensive.
