Omg we have so much in common. I already knew that we have a lot in common but wow after watching this video. I'm also an only child and a Gemini - and we also have all the same hobbies like travel and things like that. I also get really bored easily.

A little help please. I am also in a some what demanding job and pursuing FIRE. Am naturally minimalistic too outside of ordering food. But I feel pursuing fire is hindering with me focusing on rising up the "corporate ladder" in my job. Actually its a training post in the nhs. Am training to be a psychiatrist. My collegeues are not at all minimalistic and quite driven by status which probably is why they are so motivated at work. I don't hate my job and may not retire ealry. But minimalism is quite important to me for my happiness. I am considering staying a level below the consultant level so basically I won't be the 'boss' lol. So basically how to stay motivated at work if I don't like my collegues and the corporate pressure/ politics??
