I live a couple of miles away from Lee's shop. Lee and Simon are great, I remember the first time I took a wheel into Lee (years ago) to get straightened, I collected it and Lee gave me a report on the spoke tension. I couldn't believe Lee's attention to detail, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my bikes. Keep up the great work chaps! 😊

One major takeaway from watching you is to create an xls sheet for my three bikes with all the torque settings. And yes, Shimano is a great source for finding the setting, other manufacturers are also good. This took a few hours but I’m glad I did it. Also use the syringe to lube parts, great idea. Thanks for all the hints and tips, you are one of the best content creators on YT 🙌😎

The pricing is on there website. From the looks of it, very reasonable. If I lived closer all of my bikes would pay them a visit Even if they charged what I’d normally be charged, which is much higher then what they charge. Given the service and attentive detail .. I’d happily pay.. you just don’t get that quality and care any more.

@Jacksparrow4986

Very nice. About the unchanged bolts: I feel it's more economical to remove a slightly rusty bolt (or say 5 of them) and replace them then having to remove a fully rusty bold and having it break, drilling it out and all that mess. I try not to strip and break bolts, but I really enjoyed having my bike with (almost all) new bolts and having them properly copperslipped, so the stuff I had to do on the road was easily done. So, my question here: What do you say to long-term cost oriented ppl?
@Bikespeeds
@Bikespeeds 2 жыл бұрын
We do have customers we’ve built great relationships where we know if it can be done ,they want it done, and we do it. Some customers you know don’t worry about price, and some do, both are fair enough so we leave it up to the customer🧡

My local crap bike shop (it’s an expensive… premium bike chain, service and repairs only no bike sales) looks at how dirty and expensive it is , then prices it. They don’t even touch it for a pre check I took my bike into a local bike shop, the first thing they said.. “the wheels look expensive” …. That’s just a warning before they try to rip you off

11:32 I do not agree here. why? simple! Any small local business over Large companies spread world wide / continent wide. Example: I will always shop in local grocery store over any supermarket. I will always seek Bike help in local small workshops over "Best workshop Poland wide which has everything" So if your ProceX would be very helpful to other bussines of your size and could be evil / harmful to big shops? I say so what they will deal with it, while small shops will benefit from it.
