I think the rewievs on empress on fragrantica is pure jealousy and just nasty behavier, nothing you should even read. Your perfumes are such good quality, very nice smelling and I have gotten compliments on Empress several times! And so exciting with the new perfume you are creating!!! I don't usually comment, but I wanted to say that I really trust your reviews and opinions over most other perfume youtubers. I find you very honest and not snobbish, whilst other people are trying to push super expensive niche perfumes that smell average or flat out unwearable, awful, in order to make money from their affiliate links and codes. I just bought 4 bottles of fragrance this week and wanted to let you know I recommend you to the ladies who work in the fragrance shop in Plymouth and tell them they will gain so much knowledge from you and therefore be really informative for their customers 🤗. You're my Bible Soki, I just tried Alien Godess Florale & Alien Godess Amber, but before I made up my mind, I wanted to see if you had done a video on them. I am interested to ask, re the jasmin farming, are you going to stop reviewing the brands or putting a disclaimer stating that these fragrances may be produced from child labour? If your not that's fine, but I personally would like this info so I can know who to follow, (I struggle with your account from time to time, but only because of my own perception of your politics,) I guess for me your reaction to this 'out loud' issue will feature in my future subscription and purchasing. Of course you are free to believe whatever you like, buy I have my my right to not buy or support folk who don't aline with me

So I understand all brands have a ‘modern slavery’ disclaimer on their website but this bbc reporter discovered where it wasn’t true. These massive companies have such complex supply chains it’s impossible for someone like us who isn’t inside the company to know where their ingredients originate from :(

@SokiLondon that is of course, fair, but now you do know is it something you feel you should address, not just you if course other reviewers too. We all know how quick everyone is to tell us about how ethical and sustainable and 'natural' 'clean' stuff is etc.

@@nancybudd494 yes definitely. I work with a small lab in England and I’ve made sure all the ingredients are responsibly sourced. In terms of the word ‘clean’ I understand this usually means not using chemicals which have all been made illegal in the uk and Europe. My perfumes go through rigorous (and expensive!) testing to be given the legal right to sell (and PETA qualification) so I think if the perfume is sold in uk or Europe it probably is ‘clean’

@SokiLondon 'clean' in all beauty is a fake postulation from brands in all beauty, it doesn't mean anything, has absolutely no measure at all but it is something brands use a lot and want infuencers to use in adds etc. It's why it was in quotations. I appreciate that as an independent brand of course I trust that you would be ethical, it wouldn't make any sense not to be, I was asking about addressing the recent issues with other brands not your own is all. No one has to say anything of course I was only wondering if you were going to is all. Thanks for replying
