Did it happen to you that under the load of the memory card the slot stopped working? Yesterday I played some GoW, the game is installed on SD Card, the card is filled around 90% - 20GB from 256GB left free. Today I boot up Steam Deck and poof there is no SD Card. I pull it out, reset device, tried many methods and finally deleting the drivers and installing it once more helped. The problem is I dont know exactly what was the issue here. You have any idea? Too much pressure for SD Card to read the files of such a big game? Too much fills of storage? I also heard if the is too much power consumption system can disable some features. Is it true?

This video was helpful in so many ways! I had no idea that there was a driver update for a MD, I was so curious as to whether or not I should upgrade to Windows 11 and I had no idea I could update the virtual memory. Thank you so much this is been a humongous help to me and my gaming experience

For people on windows 10 you can swipe right on the left side of your screen to open task view and thats another way to go to desktop

You seem to have the same issue I used to have for Windows 11, the settings buttons on the top left of touch keyboard are huge - what bios are you on? I found updating mine to 0110 fixed it for me :)

I personally like Steam Deck Tools better than Handheld companion. It does the same thing more or less, but from my experience, better. No worrying about switching back and forth to lizard mode. It will automatically enable 360 controls when a game is in the forefront, and go back to mouse when game is minimized. Not only that, saving profiles for individual games actually works. No detecting other programs while your game is open. Seems to run correct profile for specific games as opposed to Handheld Companion. Maybe I didn't configure HC correctly, but SDT seemed to work as advertised. Just make sure to have HC closed when uninstalling it, or SDT wont work right. You will have to reinstall HC and then uninstall after closing HC.

I've been using Steam Deck tools for couple of months now, and it was great, but now I'm actively using the inbuilt per-game profiles, its an absolute game changer. Would also recommend.

Linux: Better user experience Much Easier to use More native optimised features that matters in games. Only steam games available Windows: User interface isn't the best for small screens but u can get around it You can get a lot of thr steam os features but u need to do some work (find the last ultimate Windows guide I did) You get .more games compatibility. Basically using games that are out of steam library like xbox game pass and so on

One other thing. U can play games that support anti cheat on windows but not on Linux. Games like warzone 2 and destiny

is the Sd card become faulty on long run? i use Sd card for 3 weeks from windows 10.sometimes sdcard become unreadable i have to format it just to put games again..is windows 10 not good for sdcard? it is okay to install windows 11? some said that win 11 is bugy and not stable on games

What do you mean Modern Warfare is running at 40 frames per second I get 60 frames at all times on the highest settings on Windows

Hi there, do you know how to fix the stuttering when the race starts Juiced on ps2? Everything works fine until the race starts.

@@TA_Tech, Yes, I have tried and watched many videos but no luck. The ps2 emulator is updated and still, this game does not run well when the race starts.

If I change resolution on Destiny the screen goes black and I can’t fix it. Any solutions? I’m on windows 10

Tbh I haven't played destiny but I faced this problem with Red Dead. It only works in certain resolutions. Make sure the one you pick matches exactly the deck resolution. Do it in windowed beardless first just so u don't get locked out every time u try a resolution.
