Ya know I’m a guy but she reminds me a lot of my older sister whose no longer with me and my sister basically raised me and would always tell me stuff about girls because she wanted to make sure I could help take care of them in a relationship and she has the same humor as my sister and just the complete overall vibe is just sweet like my sister’s was. I watch her videos whenever I’m having a really bad day because it’s like being there again growing up not alone. Anyway I hope everyone is having a great day and if your not I hope you can find the strength to lift your head up and work towards being happy.

I love that you are collaborating with Modern Fertility. I have PCOS and it has taken me 10 yrs to be blessed with my baby. PCOS isn’t talked about as much as it should and when it is talked about too many doctors assume it’s only caused by weight. For anyone that has PCOS, your weight is not the problem and if your doctor says that’s the only issue then please find a new OB. I never thought I’d have this opportunity to be a mother when my heart wanted it so much. My baby girl will be here by May 🖤🖤

I love that we are getting to a point where having a sexuality is an okey thing. My parents are born in the 50s, I am from a kind of don’t ask, don’t tell country, so I feel like there is still a lot of stigma around sexuality. But I feel it’s so important to be comfortable with the topic. I am not there all the time, but getting better. But having open discussions about boundaries, what you like and dislike, getting to know your body, learning what gives you pleasure, allow yourself to explore your sexuality is so important. When I was a child I went through abuse, and I was raped at 18 in my own home. It has given me a lot of issues around sex and feeling comfortable in my body, but learning to talk about it, being honest with your partner, it’s so liberating. And we need to have this open and honest conversations with kids. I don’t have any, but my nephew is 12 and from he was born I promised myself to never avoid a topic, I can say “I don’t know, we can find out together”, but if I know the answer I will tell him. When he asked about periods, he got the bloody truth. And I will continue to that, because I think that’s how we protect them from being victims of predators, because they will spot the lie, because they know what it feels like when people are honest with them. Kids trust us so completely, that if we lie or avoid topics, they will believe that’s okey. And maybe they won’t tell you the truth when they have an uncomfortable truth they should tell. So thank you, thank you, thank you, for being honest and open about topics people avoid. We need so much more of that!

I have PCOS and me and my husband have been trying for 3 years and still come up negative but everything you are saying i fully agree with. Communication is key and I have had many talks with my husband about what I do and don't like and same for him. Our sex life wasn't great at first but after we talked and had a trial and error moment it now is just right. People don't talk enough about health when it comes to periods and our love parts and we should. Its super important! Thank you for speaking open and honest about this. Many young girls and adults need to hear this. ❤❤

I've always wanted to be more aware of my fertility and be prepared before my partner and I start discussing and trying. Now I have a place to go without the anxiety of a doctor's office! I wish I could afford this test right now, but I will have to save up from my next few paychecks and get started learning! I love your videos and how honest you are. I always learn something in a way that doesn't make me feel dumb yet still so friendly and welcome

I'm so glad you talked about communication! Talking about sex with your partner is a must have, especially if you're not happy with how things are going. The sex you had with your previous partner (or what you thought sex might be due to movies, books & etc) may not be what you get with your new partner. You can't expect them to just automatically know what & how you like things & vise versa. If you're not happy or need something a little different, communication is a must!

Thank you for talking about PCOS. I have this and my husband and i have had such a hard time with children and there isn't much help. Most people around me have no idea that this exists and there isn't much treatment for it either. The treatment I've been given is birth control .... Which helps no woman wishing to be a mother. I appreciate everything you do, thank you ❤️

I...wow. Girl I just got back from seeing mt grief therapist; my husband died before covid and it has been hard on me and my girls. I am working a job that right now has me going 7 days a week, ten hour days, for nearly 5 weeks now. I'm exhausted, I'm stressed, and mt kids are scared for me. What you said about peace of mind...I'm in the middle of working and I hear that, and I stopped cold. I just stopped and stared at the wall for so damn long. It...it isn't worth taking care of the people I love if I'm losing myself and worrying those same people in the process...is it. Thanks, girl. I think the universe needed me to hear that.

I really enjoyed this video, it's really good to have this kind of conversations. This is my second comment in your chanel, the first one was from my job account 😅, like 2 hours ago, about me arriving to your channel by a recommended video on YT. And this video arrived in a good time, right now my husband and I still trying to get pregnant, it's almost 1 year and one month without success, and every month is getting rough because my period arrives. So right now we can't go to the doctor yet because in a week we're going to travel to visit my family in Peru (I don't see them since 2017), so we decided after that we will go to see a fertility doctor, to see what's happening, if my thyroid it's the problem (I have hypothyroidism), or my hormones are off, so when we arrive from our trip we will go there and check what's happening. I hope after that visit we have a better path to finally be able to have a baby (in June I'll have 35 so We have to hurry) 😅. But anyways this was supposed to be a short comment, so, I really enjoyed your video, thanks for that tip, and I'll be waiting for your next video 😊.

He told me that he realized that he learned it from MY DAD, (the man who was not only MY BEST FRIEND, but an amazing “Pop” (Grandfather/Mentor to both of my boys), My Dad was the man that lived life like every day was, or could be his last day on earth, and lived and was the epitome of the phrase “If you see someone without a SMILE, GIVE THEM ONE OF YOURS”!!! So when my Dad passed away, WOW, almost twelve years, this coming May 24th, it was my Son’s freshman year of college, out-of-State, in Seattle. The two of them were very close, so, as you might imagine, it was quite devastating for him, to also lose HIS “best friend.” Fast forward to this month, when my Son said to me, after I told h I’m to have a nice day, while he was on his day to work, his response was “I’m going to have “The Best Day of MY Life.” I asked him how he knew he would, and he replied . . . Yesterday is gone, tomorrow hasn’t happened yet, so THERE IS ONLY TODAY, so WHY shouldn’t it be the Best Day of My Life? It’s a matter of perspective. He reminded me about how my Dad used to take him out when he had errands to run, and how genuine and kind, cheerful and respectful, and ALWAYS, made it a point to make the person he’s dealing with feel important, heard, respected and of course ended up SMILING!!! 💕 With all my love, always ~ Laura 💕

😂😂😂 the period question! My d.i.l. lives with us....I'll be 45 in April. We have a young female neighbor, who has a younger female cousin, & they're all friends.....these girls have my monthly so jacked up! I've literally started 22 days early bcuz of them! Ughhhh....why do women's periods synchronize?? 🙄😒😂

And as for being a couple days late, drjolenebrighton was just talking on IG about how the 28 day cycle is a myth and I was like, Wish any doctor had ever told me that when I was a teenager - 20s and had no clue when my period might decide to show up, instead slapping BC in my hand and telling me it would fix everything (spoiler alert: no it did not)!
