Objectively, Ham's ministry is a failure. One of the reasons people leave Christianity is that the claims made by Ham, in defense of Genesis, are objectively false. It is an objective fact that despite preaching by Ham, people are bailing out of Christianity.

@@kennethleeds8503 l would agree with you about this. It's this clinging to these fundamentalist ideas of young Earth, worldwide flood, original sin, antievolution, antiscience and so on that is driving people away. Modern people are well educated in science and don't like being treated like children. Islam doesn't make this mistake. Its texts contain the same six days of creation but it's seen as poetic not in conflict with science. This may be why increasing numbers of Westerners are joining Islam.

Ham misses the point and misrepresents constantly. People are leaving religion not because of a lack of teaching, it's because of the wealth of information available offering various perspectives. This exposes the difficulties of the christian faith. If the fundamental truth is an all powerful, all loving, all knowing god than why is he creating individuals to suffer eternal torment? The god of the bible is incoherent. Most rational people will have at least an inkling of this incoherence, but if all they are exposed to is an apologetic from a Ham like character, they might be convinced. Being exposed to other positions allows a more thorough evaluation of the religion. Sometimes it doesn't withstand scrutiny.

Yes Ken. The reason people are abandoning religious fundimentalism is EDUCATION. It's just too hard to con everyone into remaining ignorant.

@@nickfaulkner4808 But that's not what you are doing. The only ibke was written by men. We know that. Even if it was inspired by a god it sill passed through the mind of man. If there is a word of God it isn't what is written in books by men. It's what's "written" in Nature. So what would reply be gods word is what science reveals about the natural world. And yes, that's something that needs to be discovered by humans, but it's verifiable against the objective standard of the natural world. You see, what you are doing is elevating something created by men to the level of the devine. There's a word for that. It's called IDOLATRY.

@@nickfaulkner4808 No--objective reality is not man's word. The Bible is man's word. Objective reality proves that Genesis is wrong. If there is a God who created the universe, God's universe proves that Genesis is wrong.

@@kennethleeds8503 ok whatever you say you’re right you win. What a fool i am for believing those Gospels that were just made up by Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John. Even though Mathew, Mark, and John were traditional Jews and everything they wrote about Jesus went against their traditional beliefs and was considered blasphemy at the time which ended up getting them brutally killed. Even though modern day psychology shows us that people are not willing to die over something they know isn’t true. But you’re right the Bible is just a made up book written by man.

@@nikipedia2818 you’re wasting your time with me my guy. I was agnostic for 19 years and started studying the Bible to try to prove it wrong to friends of mine. If you’ve studied each book of the old and New Testament then we can have this conversation, but I highly doubt that you have. Just like most people that try to debate it with me. I guarantee you’re looking at it from the outside and you’re nitpicking verses that you think contradict the whole book. I’m saying this because that’s what I use to do and the vast majority of agnostic and atheist people haven’t read a single chapter in the Bible and that’s just a fact.

It is a change from the Old Testament to the New... The message of Old... Sin and Guilt and Judgement.... To the New.. the Teaching of Jesus... GOD is LOVE... An Aussie stuck in Fear and Guilt... If you wish to be Christ like... The Essence of a Christian... You only need to demonstrate God's Love 💖. SOUL is Source Of Unconditional Love 💕 For Christ's sake when will you teach GOD'S one WORD... LOVE Live Our Vital Essence 💝 And... Australia is becoming more Spiritual.. Questioning narrow view points . Sin and redemption to get the Afterlife..?? Guilt... is no longer the motivation to be good. It is called opening our minds... And hearts...

I haven't watched yet, but in my experience people leave churches because 1. they just want money and don't help the people. The money is actually for the people too. 2. All the denominations are in conflict with each other. No perfect church because people are not perfect so we don't know who to believe. 3. No one sees angels and experiences things said in the bible. So makes it hard to understand. 4. The holocaust. 5. Even if all people where not sinning and good there would still be earthquakes and disaster not made by man. 6. People are born try to learn and try to make a living then die. There is no time for anything. We are held back by each other and governments. ....I think I can keep going, I wonder what ham says..once I watch I'll find out.
