@tristansmith8960 the reason being is that white thing is a robot humanity built, and lost the war to when the robots rebelled. Shooting them didn't work, it just pissed them off more. So to answer your question, it's there are no more guns because they were taken from humans when they lost to war against the machines. To answer the Op, yes it did survive a .50 cal barrage. It defeated everything thrown at them.

@@gaymertimeIt’s about a theme park full of life-like androids who are essentially dolls for the guests to fulfill their own ‘quests’ (think red dead redemption but in real life), who then gain consciousness and a desire to leave the park. I *would* recommend watching it but sadly it’s been removed from all streaming services.

Well, it's a nice parallel to the first season where several times, a fly would land on a host, often crawling right over their eyeball, with the host giving zero reaction.
