One Pot at a Time is a collection of food stories sharing young people from Fairfield City's (NSW, Australia) perspective of culture and heritage through connecting with food and family. All episodes were written, directed and filmed by local young people aged 12-24.
Fairfield is home to one of the most culturally diverse communities in the world, with a rich Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, South American, Eastern European and South Asian heritage.
How do young people growing up in Australia as diaspora keep connection to their culture? A lot of the time it's through the sharing of food! These are the food stories of local young people!
