Anthony Albanese ‘infatuated’ with his ‘own self-importance’: Former Labor MP

Former Labor MP Michael Danby has blasted Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for being “infatuated” with his “own self-importance” at a rally against men’s violence on Sunday.
Mr Albanese was heckled at a ‘No More’ rally against men’s violence in Canberra over the weekend.
The rally was attended by 5,000 people.
“He obviously has been infatuated with his own self-importance,” Mr Danby told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“Even if you think that the person who is the ostensible chair of this public gathering is rude, you don’t indicate it - particularly when it’s on a serious issue like violence against women.”

Australians have to very rapidly learn that you DON'T vote for a leader based on his public statements (any lie will do to suck us in!), and especially not simply their personality, how 'nice' he OR she appears to be - it's the POLICIES alone that need close assessment. We have to urgently realise that the democratic voting process is a PRIVILEGE, not something to play with, and that once lost it can NEVER be regained! We need to understand the issues, not vote on personal presentation. I believe any PM and party should be given just 12-18 months, say, trial period at the start in office - if such serious betrayals of trust appear, such irresponsibility with OUR public monies is made, if personality problems become evident in those holding the governance of the entire nation in their hands, ALL of which have been made blatantly obvious with this Labor government), they should be immediately removed from office. And that sort of 'watch-dog' alert system should remain throughout their period in office. No longer should we offer any Party a straight 4 year 'contracts' where they can't be removed even if they prove to be traitors to our people and nation! So many today are using that length of 'contract' to simply ensure their destructive plans are installed in democracies - which then takes decades to correct, if EVER. Just look at this current PM and governing Party: persisting to make a concealed, sinister, divisive but definite move to change our Constitution, the ONLY document in existence protecting the rights and freedoms of all Australians - even, alarmingly, after a vote of two-thirds of the entire country was established that clearly indicated that move was against the will of the people!! Australia has to WAKE UP or have all freedoms destroyed forever. It needs to be realised that once our Constitution is changed - even one clause - it sets a legal precedent whereby ANY Party in office or PM, can make later changes at will - which means all any political Party or leader needs to do is ensure their agenda is well-laid and planned ahead of obtaining office, and then act speedily within those 4 years to ensure all of that agenda is put in place.

If he does well and works to our expectations he gets another 12 months etc. Come time for the election if he's still there then he has proven he can govern and who knows, we vote again in his favour.

By the way, we didn't see Peter Dutton at the rally. Shouldn't he have been there. You lot were highly critical of Albanese when he made just a short visit to Alice Springs.

Dutton is imo absolutely useless as a political leader. He appears to need to be pushed into making any objection at all - as if he's totally 'scripted' and has no genuine connection with what's actually going on! However, oh so thankfully. a couple of Liberal MPs have come to light who are excellent leadership material - the major one I've only recently discovered is Andrew Hastie, Liberal MP for Mandurah, WA and presently Shadow Minister of Defence. He's the first politican I've in my entire life been able to say honestly, he is worthy of being a PM. Andrew is 'True Blue' Aussie and cares and works hard for everyday Australians, locally and federally. He is gold value. The other is Alex Antic, Liberal MP in S.A. Both energetic, dedicated to doing all they can to prevent Australia becoming a communist regime - which Albanese and his comrades have done everything in their power to make us. This is the same current global socialist/communist/totalitarian agenda being forced and pushed on all free countries, and we need to become very aware of what it intends for all democratic countries. Our freedoms will be eradicated and will NEVER be able to return. We are NOT immune to traitors taking over our country, Australia!
