Remember this one for the archives. Not just as a 50, but the game he turned the corner after struggling for the past 12 games or more. It was the one play where he pump-faked a guy at the three, dribbled past and pinned him on his left hip, then stepped to his right and threw the ball up with a one-handed standing floater with way too much lift lol. He just systematically moved the ball away from the defender and threw up a shot he couldn''t reach without fouling. The big stays down because he's such a threat to up and under. Props to Chris Finch for developing Ant into the amazing human and baller that he is!! Anthony Edwards entered the NBA in the top 10% as a 20yo, and he damn well knew it. Now we see an unselfish, empathetic team player dropping 50, playing better D than anyone, and winning games (unsurprisingly). It's hard for me to even name a weakness in his game. With Kobe you could say he didn't share the ball, or he shot low-percentage shots. With MJ, his ego was through the roof and was a dick off the court. Ant is legitimately better than 22yo Michela Jordan. If his 3pt% increases over time, we could see him shooting over 40%. I think that's the next thing he should work on off-season. With the quantity of shots he takes from deep, you can't criticize 36% -- he has a ton of room to grow!

I had the honor to watch Jordan play , and yes this guy Edward’s has very similar style as Jordan . The hang time, fadeaways, the way he attacks the rim, he’s all over the place. That type of style demoralizes opponents.

He has the same aggressiveness as Jordan when he was young and recalls him in some of his movements and in the way he attacks the basket. But Jordan was much more fluid and skilled in those movements, both in the air and on his feet. Edwards has more 3-point shooting and more physical power. Obviously it is a comparison with the necessary distances given that he still has a lot to prove. But he is a player who has that potential, only time will tell...
