Anthony Fantano is the internet's busiest music nerd. He runs The Needle Drop, a blog/vlog in which he reviews "rock, pop, electronic, and experimental music of the independent persuasion," usually by the medium of video and audio reviews.

Jake Ragoo That’s definitely not true. But, it is probably his most negative review for Death Grips. Though he still gave it a 6/10, which isn’t a bad score at all.

Honestly, in the undergroundish music, most of them are fucking great. Almost all I met were super friendly (my music geekness helped I guess). The only disappointing one was Rick from Hot Snakes/Drive Like Jehu but mainly because he was to stoned to give proper answers to my questions. But even Steve Albini is a fucking great dude in person, and he was my first interview ever (with a frggn handycam to boot, and Shellac drummer Todd Trainer ironing his shirts next to me). Favorite was probably Roger Miller from Mission of Burma. It's pretty great to have conversations with your hero's and go see bands with them and stuff. It has this weird effect of demystifying them but making them more awesome at the same time.

I was at bonnaroo and we were sitting the being bored to tears by clockwork waiting for death grips to come on and tili look to the left of the stage and there's flat lander looking pissed and he just leaves the back stage area and walks into the festival it was surreal to say the least
