You know what he was doing in those 2 years? trying to make a fight with Fury. And Luis Ortiz got his opportunity to fight AJ back in 2019 as a late replacement for Miller, he turned down 5-8 million for that fight. Just like Kowanacki who was another undefeated heavyweight contender at the time, who went on to express his regret for not taking the fight.

@kewanali2054 it takes time to gain confidence, remember he lost two fights on a row. Wallin was seen as a tricky fight at the time and ngannou was favoured by the public to beat AJ based on their performances against fury. So his last two fights were legitimate.

Maybe it will be Chisora......as if he's okay for a belt holding Champ he should be fine for a beltless AJ. 😂

Parker would be the cherry pick IMO. Not a puncher, smaller, beaten him before, been stopped by Joyce and dropped twice by Zhang. It's not a big danger fight and Joshua already beat him over 12. Dubois is young, fresh and a big puncher and has a decent chin. Zhang is enormous and a huge puncher it's a danger fight.
