AJ should watch rounds 4, 5 and 6 of his last fight with Usyk and he will notice a pattern in Usyk style and how to beat him. That is fast counters with stiff jabs or hooks (and don't fall for his traps and feints) , solid Body blows ( something AJ failed to do the last time) , and a rough rugged style going in with hooks and upper cuts, fighting on the inside, clinch and get out. In short, the Mike Tyson style is what AJ needs. If AJ goes in there the second time trying to to outbox Usyk, the same result will happen or might even gass out and get KOed. Usyk is a very skilled boxer from the outside ( the best in the heavy weight now ), but if you rough him up the right way from the get go, you can slow him down and catch him. Fury has the style to give Usyk a very hard time, just as how he fought Wilder. Anyway, I wish AJ the best of luck. Styles make fights, and AJ has to bring a new style when fighting Usyk. He can pull it off with less fear of been hit and more aggressiveness.

Everybody thinks that they know boxing, I've sparred up and coming professionals, even at that level it is brutal, most of boxing is a mental game. And I think AJ has a mental block of some sort.

It’s not that AJ approached fight one with the wrong tactics, it’s that Usyk dictated the fight from the first minute. Any other skilled fighter would adapt but AJ never had a chance and he’s not smart enough to modify his style mid fight

Imagine Usyk fought no elite fighter and he beats Aj , aj was exposed by old man valad and then Andy ruiz took his courage ,he's now scared to get hit, so rushing Usyk might get him knocked out this time. Joshua did get beaten but he just had enough to evade those last 10 punches Usyk threw at him towards the end of the fight. If he can get close in the early rounds and make it a dirtier fight go to Usyks body and make him uncomfortable then he has a chance. Only a few times in that first fight did AJ put pressure on Usyk. He allowed Usyk to get into a rhythm and dictate the fight. AJ is 33 years old now and it amazes me how at different times during his career they act like AJ is an up and coming over achiever then say that he is now an old AJ and the young one who knocked out Charles Martin is gone forever. Even AJ himself used to say that he is young and only just beginning and why should he fight Wilder now. He said this around 3 years ago when negotiations for him fighting Wilder were on going. This was almost completely focused on AJ. It's like Usyk doesn't exist, but I guess a fighter that speaks very little English is not something you can hype up very well. Also Usyk seems to be very private in training so I guess I answered my own question.

Here is the problem, Someone said it a while ago. AJ needed time and sctual fights to get over the ruiz defeat. Happens to many fighters. Problem is AJ doesn't have the fights to do that. He had the time, but the way boxing is structured, he doesn't have the fights.
