Yeah, I think she's a great actress too. It just seems like no one realizes that it was a big deal to actually win the American equivalent of an oscar in France for her work. And she continues to have a great and diversive amount of acting in films that have been noticed by critics and fans alike. I unfortunately, have had arguments with another girl who constantly visits Robsten videos here on KZfaq and keeps saying awful things about Kirsten and how she cannot act and how she is a bad role model. Which, of course, I completely disagree with. She even goes so far as to say that all Kristen ever really did was to ride Robert Pattinson's coattails. I'm like wtf? How did she ever ride his coattails? They were both really popular from the Twilight movies and for awhile, Kirsten was just known as "the Twilight girl." I always thought that both Pattinson and Stewart were the same amount as popular as the other. Plus, she says that Kristen is a terrible actress and that she works for stupid hack directors who make crap movies. But, somehow, she always finds something nice I've written about Kirsten and she just constantly bashes me for it. I'm just sick of her. She has even told lies about Kirsten and is a complete homophobe. Sorry to say all that here but I just wanted to mention it because it's so great to be here, in this conversation and to be able to talk to others who really appreciate Kirsten's work and don't put so much thought into her personal life. I like her as an actress and model and frankly, I don't care about her personal life. That is her business and not mine . Plus, my nephew is gay and it doesn't matter to me. For one, Kristen Stewart's politics tend to revolve around issues of identity, whereas Scarlett Johansson is much motivated by geopolitics, so there's no obvious overlap there. Nowadays more and more celebrities are expected to be activists in an increasingly political world so I'm not sure either of them are any more or less political than say Jessica Chastain or Susan Sarandon or Jennifer Lawerence, for example. The other thing is they express themselves very differently. Stewart is more of an indie filmmaker who has accidentally stumbled into big Hollywood roles, and you get the sense she'd much prefer to direct her own small scale dramas. Johansson on the other hand, if she could make it happen, would prefer to have a high octane Black Widow franchise and be on posters everywhere. So are they badass? I mean I guess but then that's not really a type since that covers almost everyone now. Even sweet natured Mark Ruffalo recently told the Prime Minister to go fuck himself over appropriating the Hulk for Brexit. So that "type" isn't really a type at all - it covers a whole bunch of different folk.
