Nonsense, I would not like to see him sacked, but I feel United screwed their pre-season up, they played one game per country, then there were some games which organized back-to-back (Wrexham-Madrid), I just feel fitness was an issue from pre-season, I just had this hunch that the season was going to crash even before it started - and ETH should take responsibility for that kind of schedule. His role is one of coaching, he has to take responsibility for fitness. Furthermore, his spending of 85 million on Anthony and 50 million here and there, he has to take responsibility for that too. Luck and success go hand-in-hand, but I do not see EtH as being completely faultless. He thought he would spend 3 years and then move to Bayern or somewhere, that kind of cheeky pun needs to be addressed. His opaque blaming for the club's acquisition of Evans etc and that he wasn't supported and seeking to buy his way out of his coaching failures has to be underlined. The amount of shit this man has had to deal with both on & off the pitch & with the media gunning for him constantly aswell I feel sorry for Ten Hag. Yes he's made mistakes & said some idiotic things but absolutely no doubt I fully believe in him. Far as I'm concerned it's pointless changing managers I'd keep Ten Hag for at least another year working under a proper footballing structure with a fully fit squad at his disposal then take it from there. My only issue and question are regarding his standards. Whenever he is asked about the downsides, like the negative goal difference, the absence of a defined way of playing, or the unrealistic number of goals conceded, he never takes ownership. He always cites a few good instances to evade the question and tries to suggest that United play well. If it were Pep, Arteta, or Klopp, they would be furious; after every loss, they would admit that they need to play better.We are now in the last phase of the season, and United has been poor all season. Only once has he accepted that the game was poor. He usually watches different games from what fans and the media observe. If this is just a tactic he is using to shield his players from reality, which I can't understand why, then fair enough, give him another season. But as a fan, I didn't expect us to be good; what I expected was progress, which is not evident at all. 4 yr ago we were bringing in tuanzebe, williams and maybe laird and gomez and iqbal were on the cards. Then that growth spurt was stunted by sales for some reason. Now we famously have a flush of u18s so maybe that manager should move up naturally with them or some sĥit. I'm old. Every time I seen a club win titles its cos of camaraderie or 115 charges
