@@josephine7030 That is interesting you think that, because Jonathan Bailey is definitely the strongest actor, and it is shown in the fact that the guy who played Young King George said he watched Jonathan Bailey and copied him for his performance, partly at the suggestion of the director and producers. Luke Newton was also told by the showrunner to watch Jonathan Bailey's performance. So even the show runners and producers see him as being the strongest lead and setting the standard for Bridgerton male leads.

It's Anthony for me because of his passion and character growth. I was touched by his suggested idea to Kate regarding the birth of their child towards the end of S3 Part 2. It shows how much he wanted to honor Kate's heritage as well.

I can see the appeal of both, but DJ Colin is my man. My soft boy. Mr Worldwide, completely unhinged and feral when in love. A man who runs after carriages, who dances in empty churches, who is insane enough to ALMOST fuck his lady love in the middle of the fucking street. Published author Colin Bridgerton is my main man 🥰 That's not to say Anthony is not great, but.... Anthony insisting on courting Edwina while lusting for Kate, then almost marrying Kate's sister, and before that saying he would not control himself and cheat on his wife with her, that's just not for me. Might be for some people, but not for me.

I will die on Anthony’s hill. I will watch that season a million times over but this season was a one and done for me. I felt zero chemistry between them. Had no clue why everyone was going crazy over them. Anthony and Kate forever.

Penolope: "I could die and it would kill me. Colin: "But you would already been dead"...Lol!😂😂😂. Also, in Colins defense in regards to heroism, there's something to be said when you are picked for a dance. He did that from Cressida mean drink spill on Penolope. Colin saved her from social humiliation. The dread one feels when you are not picked to dance!! I LOVE Colin for that scene!!

Anthony went from being one of my least favorite characters to my favorite in one season. They turned him from an annoying and spineless brat who slept around to someone very human, very sympathetic and someone who you understand fully why he behaves the way he does even if you don’t agree with him. And his journey to heal from losing his Dad and finally letting himself accept happiness with Kate is a very beautiful story. Anthony has a very great character arc and his I love you to Kate is earned, meaningful and has so much emotion behind it given everything they’ve been through. Colin on the other hand had three seasons to be relevant and they failed to do that. Two seasons I watched him be a complete dumbass with no self respect or development. The show did not care about him at all. So by the time it was his turn, it was a very forced and rushed catch up and it doesn’t feel earned. Season 2 is still the best season and Season 3 was a mediocre mess.

Anthony, in large part due to him actually feeling like the lead in his own season, whereas Colin feels more like a sidecharacter in season 3.

Colin. Just on a very objective level, though Anthony`s growth and passion are tremendous and worthy of praise, Colin will always be the more romantic pick for the simple fact that his troubles are not grand. They`re relatable. To be completely honest, Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley kill it as Anthony and Kate. Were it not for that, the whole triangle would`ve been seen as what it is - VERY messy. Colin, for all his faults - is the only Bridgerton brother I`D truly be with, as he`s kind, funny, emotionally INTELLIGENT(when it`s not about him) and aware of his faults. He`s quick to apologize and does so without any ego. He makes me feel safe when I look at him. He`s just a different type of leading man, one who fits my personal sensibilities better.

I hate when everyone keeps thinking that Colin was avoiding Pen....Pen asked Colin for space, she didn't want the gossip to affect his family, so she asked him to stay away....which he obliged. There are so many things that people just overlook because they aren't paying attention and then complain about. Especially Colin's whole "rake" persona and him being lonely...so many people think that Colin just turned into a rake overnight just because....even though it was spelled out like a thousand times in the show that it was an act to try and harden himself after all his heartaches and to fit in with the rest of the ton. I liked S2 but honestly Anthony just came off so selfish and he hurt so many people, which is why I really like Colin the most. He is sweet and sensitive and yes, he said 1 mean thing to Pen, but all the other times he was just honest and just didn't realize his love for her. That doesn't make him dense or stupid, just not emotionally ready yet. People complain that Colin should have known....well Pen could have also told him her feelings for him too. It takes two to tango! LOL

I think it will indeed be the next story. In this season's end, Eloise mentions a masquerade ball. That’s where Benedict meets his Bride to be in the books. So he will probably be the next lead.

"The Viscount Who Loved Me" (Anthony and Kate's story) has been my favorite book in the series since it was published, so I'm a little biased. But I love Anthony's development. And Kate Sharma (different from the book, and a great difference, imho). And Newton the Corgi. Especially Newton. 🥰

Anthony even without his love interest is a well-rounded, complex character. Every single action and decision and even the tiniest facial expressions and quirks of his are backed by his backstory and character. And he also happens to be played by by-far the best actor on the show. Take from that what you will 😭

Colin all the way. Yah a lot of people will choose Anthony because girls prefer the bad boy to good boy trope. Girls like story that they were the one who change the man. But the good thing about Polin is that they did not change but rather they just help each other blossom. Colin is a husband material affectionate yet firm. Caring yet with principles. He genuinely listens to Penelope and consult her. And man consent he always ask for consent and that is sooooo sexy. Colin all the way!

Colin is seriously a good person. That the writers shows not to show too many Polin scenes is such a disappointment that does not take away anything from Colin or the actor.

I respect your opinion, but couldn't disagree more. If by being a stallion you mean almost marrying Kate's sister, and telling her he would cheat on said sister with her if she was near... then I would run away from said stallion. Green flag men only in my heart, sadly, season 2 Anthony was not one of them.

Kate had a big hand in this. She begged Anthony to go through with the wedding and promised that their feelings for each other would lessen with time. Anthony tried to be honorable.

Kanthony are not believable or relatable...their trauma issues are their own, there's nothing to solve in the relationship as such.... It all seemed like lust to me when it comes to those two and in real life People don't fall in love like this so quickly.Colin and Penelope have known each other for the longest time and have had feelings for each other if you watch the first two seasons carefully. Even in part 1, it was very clear you have to watch all the micro expressions, the nuances, the words in particular. I don't know how people can miss that amazing chemistry

every season is different for a reason, it caters to different audiences. it's pointless to compare, or fight because of it. in my case, this season was more interesting, because i love seeing healthy relationships blossoming, whereas season one and two had some toxicity going on. but we all should praise the seasons we like and let other people enjoy the ones they do.

I am Team Colin - Anthony is a nice storyline, but I like Colin and Penelope more. Season 3 is my favorite and Colin an Pen have the greatest chemistry (my opinion)

The comparison is what makes this show lame. Imagine pinning siblings against eachother. Anthony's character arc was great. We all loved his character development, but the show was unfair to Colin. Colin has no flashbacks and rarely any moments we see his internal struggle. We didnt see how he felt when his father died and trying so hard to be like his brothers. We didn't get to see how he felt when Pen wouldn't reply to his letters. Colin's character was overlooked because Penelope was the main character. She was her guy and we saw mostly through her perspective. Colin is very similar to Penelope, kind, caring, but overlooked by everyone. He never talks, just writes his feelings.

The last one is wrong...lady whistledown stand much in the way of collin and Penelope. And part 2 of season 3 has a lot more of angst and tenson..It is not really fair to do this vs brother..without look on the whole season of season 3 and not just the first part. I love Anthony a lot.. Just saying there is a lot of angst and tenson with collin too

Colin!! Colin once he knew how he felt about Penelope, went after her, proposed and married her ! He’s always defended her and given her attention when others ignored. With Anthony, I’m sorry but he lost major points when he proposed to Edwina in front of Kate after realizing he had feelings for her. And made it all the way to the Alter w Edwina and was accidentally found out to have feelings for Kate when he cldnt hide it anymore. There was no woooing or courting for them. Colin did it all the right way. He wasn’t forced to marry Penelope like Simon was neither. This season is by far the best in couple development. Pens and Colin’s relationship dynamic was so sweet to watch. All the giggles between them during intimate moments🥰🥰🥰🥰. So good. Ppl tried to come for Colin for sleeping w prostitutes like Anthony didn’t live at the brothel and Benedict… well I’m not surprised by what he’s gotten into this season🤭. Been brewing since S1!

I think both have so much to give, but I prefer a person who never overlooked a girl who everyone else saw as invisible. No matter what anyone says about Colin, he was a good friend. Anthony is great and I went from disliking him to liking him, but all things considered only a guy like Colin can deal with a powerful girl like Pen. Pen is way advanced for that time.

No surprise about this kind of video being done about Bridgerton and not being in any way shocked that Anthony would be top. Seriously s3 pt2 barely been out and the comparisons have to begin instead of just the enjoyment for many of the completion of the Polin love story. I think they are both great in their roles despite some thinking JB is the better actor. So can we expect round two in comparing Pen and Kate?.........

It is not reform rake storyline for Colin... Please pay attention when you're watching... He was pretending to be something he is not because his brothers are constantly chiding him for not being a rake and not being a man... What they mean by that is society expects you to sleep around and behave in a cavalier fashion. Tried to do that in the first part but that's not who he is and that's what pen made him realize.
