I think many foreigners think Bts are little bit old cause they’re in these industries for so long but JK is only 26 and he conquered the world music industry when he was in early twenties. JK become a trainee when he was 13 and he debuted 15 as Bts’s main vocal. There’s no artist who can sing, dance and rap like JK in the world.

imo jack's rap is excellent. apart from the sound, it adds a crucial part to the overall meaning of the song by adressing some serious issues in a humorous/embarassing way (JK alone would be boring; honestly i didn't think his vocals were that good here). this song actually puts forward some real criticism (and self-criticism) about men, racism, stereotypes etc., but at the same time it gives hope by showing how men can evolve for the better and men from different cultural backgrounds can come together/get along. it's a song with a social message! i didn't realize how good this song is until i read about the controversy shared by listeners.

My guess is Hybe wants to promote him as an American pop star like Justin Timberlake or Justin Bieber provably. This reminds me of JT song Like I Love You.
