My favourite part is when Jimin and Jungkook harmonize beautiful. It's not only the harmonization. It's the harmonization along with the rhythm of the lyrics that change. It gives me goosebumps everytime!

ah my favorite song of all time from BTS. The moment I heard it, I melted. Im a jazz and blues fan, and this just hit me to the core. My favorite lines are Jimin "Please baby, calm down, just a little more" and Taehyung "More insecure, more dangerous, so bad (so bad) us." It the lines that show who they are personally and brings out one of the best parts why I love their voices. Jimin's high tone and Tae speaking in that low tone. It's their voices and what they're saying and how they're saying it. It's beautiful. Yes, still my favorite.

House OF Cards is such an iconic and amazing song as I have never skipped it on my spotify list. This song is the type of song that i would imagine being in a drama or film like 50 Shades. The vocal line have such amazing and powerful vocals, that make you feel the emotion in your heart and you can just hear the emotion in their voices when they sing. Jimin’s, Jin’s, Jungkook’s and Vs vocals go really well with eachother and they each bring something different yet suttle to the song. So basically in my opinion this song House Of Cards is such a mood and a bop which makes me feel a certain way (if you know what i mean). Also this song has was way of being sensual yet dark and mysterious at the same time. Also the backing vocals makes this song feel even more intense and you can really feel the song and the melody of it right in your heart. Also the live performance blew me away so much as just seeing their faces full of emotion made the song ten times better. Also this song has to be one if not the most beautiful and majestic songs by BTS. Also i dont know what its called but i love Jungkooks ‘dobidobidoo’ bit half way through the song as you can really hear the emotion behind it as Kookie’s voice is just so beautiful for this type of song. Also i love the way they always put Jimin and Jungkook together to sing certain parts as their voices match perfectly with each other and sound amazing together. Also i love Jimin’s voice in this song as its just so beautiful and majestic and i could talk about his voice all day (as he is my ultimate bias). Also i could listen to the vocal line all day everyday and never get tired of hearing their voices, its like in this song they are serenading me and making me fall for them even more than i can. Too hard to pick favorite lyrics, but this song reminds me of the relationship between me and my first girlfriend. She passed very young because of cancer. So we knew our relationship would end soon because of this, but we still loved each other, she loved me until her last breath and I still can't go on... So our story is an house of cards that was about to collapse, and us two were just living in it. It felt just like the two of us having tea in our small kitchen during a earthquake...

My best line: enduring more, holding out. I am 64, living in France. I had heard in the past about BTS from some friends’s teenage children, but never paid attention to that, cos K-pop was to me Gnangnan style (I can’t stand that song) and those high pitch girl voices that made my skin crawl. But then, over the last Christmas holidays, I watched a James Corden show with BTS, and “ON”, with Jimmy Fallon, in Grand Central in NYC. Too late, I got hooked. I had not spent so much money on music since I was in my 30’s. Damn, they are prolific, those ones! And the diversity of beats, rhythms etc, is unbelievable. I don’t like everything though. I was never in rap or hip hop, but their music grows on you , like Trial:Seesaw or Black Swan. I started to look for the translated lyrics of my favorite songs, and I loved the symbolism. Those are not hollow texts. And finally, I have to admit that I cry over some of the songs, like House of .cards or Truth untold. I don’t know if I cry because of the voices blend and vibrations, the intensity of the emotions behind, the music, the text, or the beauty of it all. All I know is that those songs go straight to my guts. Even their happier songs touch me. For me, this is not K-pop. This is something else. And I am probably among the few happy older people who recognize the quality of this group, although I’m not sure that if their lyrics had been weak, I would have carried on listening to them. My two cents. Oh, and their shows are out of this world. Watch the MMA 2018 or 2019.

I've already noticed it, but I just wanted to point out how considerate Anthony is, it's so refreshing. - "Even if you already knew, we couldn't stop" - "Like there's no tomorrow, like there's no next time" - "Say it like you mean it" - "Please, baby, calm down" - "More insecure, more dangerous, so bad, us; enduring more, holding out, it's collapsing again" Oh well, I just love it. As someone who only rests when I feel like I've definitely reached the end and I've done everything I could to try to get another outcome and/or full closure, these lines really resonate with me. For me it's not about clinging to someone/something, it's about fighting for what you believe(d) in (something/someone) and come to terms with the fact that you were wrong/it wasn't or couldn't become real

Anthony you definitely should check out the live performance of House of Cards. Seeing all the emotions the vocal line poured out in the performance make the song even better.

The live of the song is way better because musical arrangement is somehow more dreamy, plus lets not forget all added ad libs by JK and his insane scatting that is in the studio recording pushed into background and Anthony manages talk through all of it lol. The live has way more emotions and delivery hits harder as well. Jin is super stellar in the live recording, you just have to see it to be able to see the difference :-) A great song !

The entire song is exquisite, especially the intensifying drama from the second verse onwards. I did the same as you, became aware of this song some time ago but only really discovered it properly just recently and now it’s one of my all time faves.

It's not technically a line, but my favorite part of this song has always been the scatting section with Jungkook right before the second verse starts when they also add in upright bass. It's so jazzy and bluesy and it's something that makes this song so damn unique. (If we're talking actual lyrics though, I really like "though I knew it already, I couldn't stop" because it really encapsulates that whole feeling of the song. They know that this thing, whatever it is, is bad for them. It's only going to hurt them. But once you're in that kind of headspace, it's so difficult to change and take yourself out of the situation, and I think that that's a really relatable line for a lot of things, not even just relationships)
