Rammstein always opens up a bunch of interpretations of their songs and they almost never explain, what their intention for the lyrics were. So it is up to the audience to see in the lyrics whatever they want. So one interpretation focusses on the line "Ich seh im Spiegel dein Gesicht" (I see your face in the mirror) and assumes that the song is about hurting yourself. That might be one valid interpretation. It is also possible that the lyrics are about BDSM, with a joke on the outside view to BDSM of tabloids by adding some even more absurde "practices" as they presume normally (barbwire, rodents, ...).
