I'm Japanse ARMY. (Sorry, my English is bad.) They are singing the song all in Japanese. It's amazing even they sing in the different language, their delivery of emotion is same when they sing in Korean. All their Japanse are great though, especially, I'm please Jimin and Jin's Japanese. Very very clear and lovely. This one and Film Out are my favourite Japanese songs of BTS 💜

They weren't thinking of disbanding in 2020. They were thinking of taking their hiatus for their military service. I think they said that they were going to start going after their scheduled 2020 tour, but Covid derailed those plans. Yoongi commented that if they had gone when they originally planned to, then they would all have been back by the 2022 Festa. Yes, this was written around the same time as Outro: Tear. To me, Tear is like the anger stage of grief while Let Go is the final stage of acceptance. I wish this video had shown a little more of the choreo. It's really beautiful for this song.

This is the song that made me Army. I had heard of BTS but never was interested. Then I came across this video on KZfaq. They say BTS finds you when you need them the most or when it’s time for you to discover them. Well it was 3 years after my divorce and I was still having a hard time because he was my high school sweetheart. We were together for 24 years and married 18 so it wasn’t so easy to LET GO per say. Anyways, came across this song and it resonated with me. It’s a beautiful song and the choreography was beautiful too. I noticed V first with that fluffy hair and sexy leg grab. Then he smiled and I melted. I was invested. I started to listen to all of their music and watch all of their content. You know…went down the rabbit hole that is BTS. So here I am 5 years later and I’m still a fan and Jin bias! They helped heal me and gave me my smile back. I’m grateful to them.

Jin really does shine in their Japanese songs. This was the song that made him one of my favourite vocalists in their group. Every Japanese song, I'm waiting for him because I know they be giving it to him to drive it home. His tone and quality is just so pure and passionate it's almost painful. Perfect contrast to V's more velvety tone. It seems unlikely at first, but they are able to match each other really well in their songs. Just perfection. 💟

Great reaction/analysis. Yes this was around the time they were thinking about their disbandment. Their songs are so good that it can have different meanings. Their performance is so on point. The emotion, the singing/ rap delivery, the dancing, and the use of V and Jin’s voices really give it soulful / sadness that the song requires.

RM and Jimin have the most unique voice tones in the group. Jimin's enunciation and echoing vibrato, is just exquisite. Be sure to watch the stage mix by Brilliant as well - this one's good but Brilliant shows the choreo more seamlessly and clearly (through choice of angles and visuals, etc.) especially the "stereo to mono" part from Jimin and Jin... the choreo detail there is so on point. 🤩

It’s good that you started talking about the harmony of BTS’s song and dance. Their dance, like in ballet, conveys the content of the song, literally line by line. By the way, unlike other K-pop groups. I specifically compared. Well, the dance slightly conveys the general tonality and mood of the song. And most importantly, no one talks about this, but in BTS dances there is a lot of gestural and dactyl (finger) speech for deaf spectators. Deaf and hard of hearing people love music and sing songs. With gestures. They “hear” music through the vibration of the floor, walls and air. The guys even exchange words with each other in front of the cameras or on stage. There were especially many gestures in the songs during the pandemic. And for information: sign language is international, with small nuances in each country, since it was invented by medieval monks who took a vow of silence.

In 2018 they were talking about disbanding because of burnout and the drying up of creativity. It was horribly emotional for them - that's when Suga wrote Tear. In 2020, enlistment was facing them imminently since he was 28 and that was the law. The government was farting around about it (it was complicated) so BTS sort of solved that by saying they would go. So yes, they had to discuss break-up, hiatus, or make plans of some kind. It was a matter of duty to their country and not musical or personal or anything like that.
