Absolutely. I saw John Bush live was with Armored Saint. They opened for Metallica and Y&T headlined. 1985. I thought he was a perfect fit for Anthrax.

+Gareth Alan Hahaha, yeah me too. I love Joey and never wanted to hear them when he was sacked but I eventually grew to love Bush. He's technically probably a better singer than Joey - and anyone saying otherwise should try singing along to either of them to see what I mean. Joey couldn't come close to nailing this which rather proves my point. John DOES have a better range. Although Joey is still a legend and perfect for the stuff he did with the band.

I saw Joey try to sing this live and he simply did not have the gravitas to pull this song from the deep places that it requires. I noticed they dropped it from their setlist a few days later. I have come to appreciate Joey -- he's a fun frontman with a good voice -- but he is no John Bush.

I like the Belladonna era too. I just don't like him singing the John Bush shit. Leave it alone. Also, why is Belladonna singing like the fuckin cookie monster all of the sudden? Now he just sounds like everyone else. It was unique when he was the only singer of a thrash band to have a really high voice

Please refrain from mentioning John Bush & David Draiman in the same sentence. They are not even in the same class. Draiman may have a strong voice, but there's is very little authentic substance beneath it. Bush on the other hand is authenticity straight through. Pure gravitas!
