I love antherium bc I feel like they are so rewarding , with how big the leaves get! So beautiful 😍

Thank you for such an in depth video. I have 28 germinated clarinervium seeds growing right now so this will help me in the future. One thing though... I also cut off my 2 inflorescences when I received my clarinervium because it got lost in the post and had spent 10 days in a dark box. I didn't want the plant to have to work too hard to recover. However, I didn't throw them away and much to my surprise the one with 'green bumps' on continued to grow and become berries. Every single berry ripened and from 18 berries, I got 28 seeds which have all germinated. 🥰 Edit: I meant to add, I put the inflorescences in water and they ripened within a few weeks. 🥰

Could you do a video on clarinervium specifically? I currently have a Clarinervium inflo and the female and male phase are happening at the same time. Should I rub the pollen on the stigmatic fluid? Or should I just leave it alone? Any tips/tricks would be appreciated

This is so helpful!! Quick question: once you fold the pollen into the foil and label it, do you just pop it directly in the freezer? Any certain temp it needs to be at or anything? Anything you need to do when removing it from the freezer to use?

Amazing video! Can you please explain how does Anthurium Clarinervium self pollinate? I have one and only one inflorescence emerged, I haven’t see any droplets since it opened or pollen but somehow small green bumps are beginning to show. Do you think it is pollinated or that is impossible? 🤔

Any tips on what to do if my lux (now pushing the 6th inflo) just isn't producing any pollen? Female phase looks perfect, the whole inflo is always full of the stigmatic fluid... but no pollen afterwards.

Hi everybody ! I have a question about inflorescence : if I am not interested into pollinating (because my place is already full of plants, I don't need more ...) is it better to cut the inflorescence ? I have heard that they can drain the energy from the plant and the plant will produce less leaves or weaker ones ?

Can we collect pollen multiple times from the same inflo, or should we just wait to collect it all at once? I hope someone can answer this, my inflo has started developing pollen, it's been about week, and I don't know if I should be collecting pollen now, and more as long as it keeps producing.

Did you wait to pollinate until the entire bloom was full of drops and did it take a long time for the first drops to show up? many thanks and best regards

But for the sake of helping you to be more correct and sound more knowledgeable, plants DON'T get pregnant. That is the characteristic of an animal, not a plant. They are also NOT he's nor she's. You said you like for people to bring things up in the comment section to debate or discuss, so here it is. I'm a biologist, and have lived and worked in 42 countries around the world. And being a biologist, you can imagine it's bothersome for people to incorrectly label organisms, esecially humanizing organisms which are definitely NOT human. It just doesn't sound smart, and thus I thought I'd get your reaction to this information. AGAIN, I appreciate all of your information you send out, and thus am not posting this to be offensive or demeaning. Quite the opposite. When I'm habitually making a mistake, I prefer a correction thus allowing me to amend my thinking and stop making the same mistake in the future. It's smarter, wiser and more helpful. 🤟
