Hey guys! Today I am sharing my anti-aging skincare routine when I am using Copper Peptides. I use this routine a few nights a week when I am not using Tretinoin. Copper Peptides is a great ingredient to target signs of aging, firms up the skin and it can help to stimulate new collagen as well.

I’m also a huge fan of pairing SDMS with CAIS and vitamin c (I use the C glow from Geek and Gorgeous every morning) but due to the PH of SDMS, I prefer to use it after I’ve applied c glow in the morning and after CAIS in the evening, as they should be used straight after cleansing due to their low ph. I’ve seen great results so far!

I absolutely love that night cream! I couldn't begin to count how many I've gone through. I need to try the niod copper serum. I have the dismutase spray but can't really tell it's doing much. Have you tried the YTTP adaptogen mist? I love it! ❤

I appreciate your demonstration of this. My skin has become more red since starting prescription tretinoin. Dr. Dray mentioned something about how it increases blood flow to the surface of the skin and that can contribute to redness. I have a centella toner that I like which helps with redness due to irritation. I like to use the inkey list q10 serum on my copper peptide nights. I love this routine

Another great video!! I personally started using the copper peptides in my morning routine, instead of vitamin C, giving it a break for this month, but was I pleasantly surprised... wow oh wow, it is really amazing and it really brightens my skin and my skin really loves in every way. You're so welcome!! I truly do believe Copper Peptides is not as harsh as retinols/retinoids. If I were you, I would give Copper Peptides a try especially if you're not able to be consistent with Retinol.

All of the products I shared are ok to apply under the eyes but everyone has different sensitivities to products when it comes to the delicate area around the eyes so everyone should be cautious. I can tolerate all of these under/around my eyes.

You shouldnt use copper peptide and retinol at the same time because they will cancel each other out. Use one at day and the other at night.

It is safe to use copper peptides with niacinimide. Vitamin c and retinol can be use led together with sunscreen in the a.m

As I have understood it - it has nothing to do with it being harsh - it has to do with the ph of the vitamin C. I put on the vitamin C, then Resveratrol and Ferulic acid - then I wait a minute and put on a watery toner - and then the copper peptide. That way your skin is not so acidic and will not destroy the copper peptides🙂

The Ordinary & NIOD don't recommend using Antioxidants with Copper Peptides. Best to keep them separate for maximum results.

Also, there's no reason why one can't incorporate copper peptides in their tretinoin or retinol routine, as copper peptides won't cause any irritation. Peptides unlike some acids don't iritate

I generally apply products to damp skin for better absorption but when I am using Tretinoin/Retinol or active ingredients I apply them to dry skin.

I share "examples" of skincare routines to help recommend an affordable a.m. and p.m. routine for those that want to stick with one specific brand.... Example: The Ordinary I am not confusing people. You could as the Amino Acids has a thin texture. I would actually apply Timeless Vitamin C first, Amino Acids then DRMTLGY Hydration booster but that's just me..
