The idea of protecting my hands every day with sun screen is awesome, but as a housewife I just can’t seem to not wash my hands as I prepare food, clear the table, Feed the animals, etc. I would be reapplying all day. Do you reapply throughout the day, or do you just put it on in the morning and avoid washing hands all day? Seems like it would be hard to keep up with that part!

I love the fact that you don't deviate too much away from your tried and true skincare products, you have taught me that consistency is key when it comes to an effective skincare routine. If you have dry eyes, avoid putting any retinol or Retin A around your eyes. I'd assume retinaldehyde will do the same. It dries out your meibomian glands.

Gina, I agree. My husband and I moved in 2018 about 2 hours away from all our friends and family. Granted that isn't too far, but we have had difficulty meeting people, finding the right doctors for us (new health system), services, etc. My biggest challenge was finding a hair stylist. I did finally find one but I drive 40 minutes to him. In saying this, COVID has really prevented us from being social. I would love to hear Angie chat about her experiences.

For those on a tighter budget or who want an alternative to the Clinique Balm, I started using good old (and I mean OLD) Abolene. It does not rinse away, you need to wipe it off gently with a wash cloth, then follow with lathering cleanser, but I've really grown to love it. It's been used for 50 years or more -often in theatre and films, good stuff. It's less than $10 for a huge tub.

Derma-E relief cream is the only cream that has worked on me to remove neck/chest irritation while using retin-a. I apply it to my neck/chest every night (as last step) and every morning (as last step before sunscreen) and I'm finally able to use retin-a on those areas without irritation/redness/itchiness. My neck and chest thank you for solving that problem - I would never have found that cream if it wasn't for you sharing your experience. ❤

So appreciative of learning about this cream from Angie! It's one of the only creams I can put near my super sensitive eyes. I use it as a cream eye goggle before adding any tropicals , day and night, so they don't migrate into my super sensitive eye area. Also use it on my sensitive neck.

Hi Angie. Thanks so much for sharing your evening skin care routine! I use many of the same products you do and you are right, it takes time but they do work. I am also glad that you pointed out that Botox is very limited in its affect on your skin. I am like you and use Botox on my forehead and a little bit in my crows feet areas but I still have wrinkles there. I think sometimes women think that if you use Botox somehow it helps your whole face look younger which is just not the case at all. As you mentioned, Botox is just localized to the areas you use it in and the rest of your skin definitely just looks good due to your efforts. I’m 63 and Botox alone would not significantly improve my face. If my skin looks younger, it is mostly due to good scientific skin care that works. Thank you again for pointing that out.💝🎉🐶🎄💝🎉🎂💪

Hello Angie, have you seen any studies proving that every day use of tretinoin is the most efficient? I heard that using it every other day is enough because tretionin stays in the skin 48 or 72 hours, and every day use is just a waste of the product. I would really like to know your opinion. Hi Angie. I’ve been watching you for years and appreciate your honesty and openness. I’m in my early 60’s and have been using .025% tretinoin for about 7 years. When I asked my Derm to bump up to a stronger percentage she said that studies show no advantage to using strengths higher than 25% for anti-aging purposes, that it would only cause increased irritation. I wonder if you could address this in one of your videos. Thanks for all the inspiration!

I like Dr Dray but she doesn’t always get everything correct imo. I trust Angie more than her and just because someone has a doctorate doesn’t mean they know everything in my experience and in fact quite the opposite and if these past 3 years haven’t been proof of that then nothing has. I get it more isn’t always better, but Angie looks at many studies not just one and the medical community often create studies for a powerful firm or backer and not necessarily for the goodness of science ( i direct you to Brett Weinstein @Darkhorse podcast ). Dr Dray gets paid to back certain products w/o doing her research she sells out sometimes imo or she just doesn’t know but either way I stopped listening to her a long time ago.

Hi Angie. Thank you so much for introducing me to Curology. I had no idea this company existed. I signed up tonight and I have to say I'm a little nervous. What if I didn't answer the questions properly, than what they send is not the right combination. **IKES**. I'm 58 yrs old and have severe jowls and wrinkles around my mouth and under the eyes. I need a full face/neck lift. Years of yo,yo dieting and smoking have taken a toll on my face. I'm hoping this product will give my face a little lift so I can look in the mirror.. (lol) God Bless. Thank you for all your hard work.

If anyone thinks Botox and fillers were the only way to achieve looking like how you do presently, they can’t be helped and don’t need anything proved to them. Especially since you didn’t start until 50. I found you because I did not want to start Botox yet. I am in my 30’s. Since I started your recommendations, my friends are asking what I do because I stopped appearing to age essentially.

Botox is great to prevent fine lines and wrinkles! You don’t want to wait until you have them bad before you start because then you can’t really fully get rid of them. It’s more for prevention! Recommend starting around age 30 or before!! With great skin care , retin a vitamin c etc

Angie, I adore you. My nighttime routine is incredibly similar to yours. Thank you for sharing the retinol serum. I have to admit, that the Tretinoin does irritate my neck at times. I wish I could find a cleansing balm that didn't irritate my eyes. Super sensitive. I do use the Grace and Stella balm, that you had once recommended, but sometimes that stings. And I can't use the Clinique Take the Day Off, because it's not cruelty free. I can't thank you enough for all of your amazing advice. You look incredible❣❤💖

I have extremely sensitive skin and love DHC cleansing Oil. It's clean and cruelty free with a very short ingredient list. I have sensitive eyes too, allergic to most things, and can open my eyes with this while washing my face. No stinging or irritation at all. Maybe it will work for you too.

I had a similar problem on my neck but one day my chemist gave me by accident a 0.025% tube of tretinoin cream instead of the 0.5% prescribed one. I thought that I might as well try it on my neck since the stronger version was far too irritating. After 4 months, not only it had worked better than the stronger version but with no irritation! The depth of my neck lines have reduced by half!! So I now use the lowest concentration for a better result on that part of my face (and top of my hands!)

You look great! I've used tretinoin and other tried and true products for many years, and they definitely work as advertised. But skincare alone is not always enough. I'm in my mid-fifties and have very little wrinkling, but my face just dropped eventually. I finally had a mid face lift a while ago, and while I'm still waiting for a somewhat final result I couldn't be happier. I'm not delusional and think that I suddenly look *young*, but I do look a lot more refreshed.

I have spent lots of money on topical skincare with very little results. Started doing mesotherapy with a amazing results. I still use my tret, make my own Vit c and hyaluronic acid serum ( about 1.00 a bottle as opposed to 15 to 20.00 a bottle). One mesotherapy treatment can cost about 50.00 or more, (PCL-PDRN), but it does more than many bottles of high priced serum. Most of that stuff sits on top of your skin and evaporates. I understand many people are not comfortable with needles but do some research and get some results and stop wasting your money. That being said, Iove your channel.

Hi Angie! Thanks for another terrific video . I use a very similar cocktail of products in my evening routine. I am always tempted to use my watery serums under my Curology, since the latter is creamy (though, not oily or occlusive). Do you ever wonder if your lighter serums are less able to penetrate the skin when applied over your Curology. Just wondered about your impressions :-) Thanks!

I started using Tretinoin over a year ago after stumbling onto your channel. I am STILL not able to use it every night. I also have not been able to increase my strength (.05%). I dont get any redness or irritation, i just peel like a reptile lol i just kind of play it by ear. I use it every night until my skin starts peeling off then i skip a few nights. I have to say, even tho i have not been able to use it every night, my skin has still dramatically improved. It has softened my forehead wrinkles and evened out my skin tone. I had a huge sunspot on my cheek that is now gone. I love my Tretinoin and am very grateful to you for introducing me to it. P.S. i eventually added all of your other products into my routine as well. I love them all!

I agree with you on using cruelty-free products. I've found that many of Angie's recommended products are cruelty-free, or at least say they don't test on animals. One thing we can do is to research for vegan, cruelty-free alternatives and share this information with others and tag. And of course let these companies know that we're not using their products if they're not cruelty-free.
