Went to listen for the first time expecting the usual anti flag style (which I've always loved) and was both surprised and blown away when I heard it. I actually really love this sound. It has their attitude and an awesome message. It's anti flag but it's very evolved. There are very few songs that can become favorites of mine before even getting through the song once but this song has done that. Every second of it had me hooked. And I didn't think an Anti-Flag song could beat Brandenburg Gate!

I won't lie, I miss the "A New Kind of Army"-sound. But, if this is the way that Anti-Flag is headed, then I'll roll with it. Punk is in the message, not in how pop-ish you sound.

I found this song on Spotify. After I heard this song I decided that Anti-Flag is one of my favourite bands.

After seeing the Mourning in Amerika tour with Rise Against, AFI, and Anti-Flag....I am now a huge fan of this band. They KILLED IT!

My brother just left for the Army. He left a box of shirts for me, and an Anti-Flag shirt was one of them. He wore it all the time, so of course I snagged it. I didn't know who they were, but I'm so glad I looked into this band!

oh my god, melodyne and clip distortion on Sane's voice! i fucking LOVE it. makes it sound mainstream, accessable, but angry as hell. the point of this band is to reach people who weren't political before. not just placate to the people who already agree with them. that's why they appeal to the mainstream a bit as well, to help illuminate their minds. it's a brilliant strategy. it's how i found them. i'm sure there are millions like me.

They been around for 10+ years and their message is still on point.

All people here are complaining how this isn't anti flag anymore and everything and yeah, it's completely different from the other songs and the filter over the vocal is really unnecessary because his voice sounds even better without... Bands like Anti Flag are why America stays great. It is the people, not the ruler, that make America what it is. Remember that we are living in unique times, and that Trump DOES NOT represent us. As long as the American people speak out we remain great, it is when we bend a knee that we fail.

This is my favourite Green Day song.

I can understand the “complaints” but I stand by this being as Anti-Flag as possible. If this sounds over produced, poppy, catchy and manufactured for radio - then DUH. This was clearly intended to be so. The sound choice - to me, at least - is intended to be in parody of the washed out, dolled up LIE that America has been for the longest time now, and still gaining momentum. It even fits the lyrics in that theory. Anti-Flag has been talking about it (among other things) their entire careers. It’s literally meant to parody that theme while backing it’s message. This is truth through satire. IT’S THE AMERICAN ATTRACTION. Literally. Some folks here mentioned similarities to Green Day - for which I will add a semi-recent example of why this is true. Besides the obvious fact that they have also been doing that sort of thing for nearly 30 years. “Kill the DJ” was also produced and written to parody itself. It was ripped to shreds by the fan-base. I always felt that many missed the joke. It’s supposed to sound hollow, over-produced, and manufactured for radio trends. Again, the lyrics may as well SHOUT that sentiment. They were calling out shitty radio while sounding like shitty radio. That was also BEFORE iHeart, btw. That was the whole point. I felt like that whole trilogy was doing that in a way. But that’s just me and my 10 cents. Thanks for sitting through my Ted Talk.
